I think 7 days is excellent and also the roots look good.
What would you like to improve?

It will also depend on the strain, but I think 7 days is on the faster side of the spectrum.
Ok that’s good to know, I’m still relatively new to the cloning game

I’m Not really looking to improve on anything ,if it’s not needed. if they are on the correct pace, I guess I wanted clarification/confirmation that they were indeed doing fine for day 7-8

already today they are showing much more growth than yesterday, I’ll snap more pics when I get back home in a bit. It’s crazy how easy and well these clones work.

thanks kessje!

Do you use some kind of rooting powder or gel?
The roots on the stem are dense (on a small surface on the stem, I mean)
Ya , i used the gel to dip the cuttings in directly after i snipped them. Clone-tek i think its called?

And you wash it off before you put them in your cloner?
Or do you perhaps cut your stems also a bit more precise after you take them out of your dip?

No, i just made nice clean cuts, dipped them in the gel and placed them right into the collars/cloner.

Should i have washed that stuff off first?

Well, I actually don't know.

Tried several ways and once with Clonex.
I made clean cuts, dipped them in Clonex, left them in it for a few minutes, and put them in the cloner.
Perhaps they were in the Clonex too long.
Anyway, they performed badly.
Still searching for the best way.

I also builded a DIY cloner with sprayers.
Using a 1500 liter/hour pump.
It feels oversized, but it doesn't matter that much. Better to big as to small IMO.
It is 15 Watts and costed about $ 15.00 (incl. shipping from China)

Anyone on the fence about buying or building an aerocloner, i cant stress enough how awesome they are.

Heres my roots at day 11 or 12? i used tap water with Ph`d nute mix back when i turned it on, havent touched one thing since.
What does your nute mix consist of? And ppm?

In the cloner PPM was around 400

I upped nutes when i put them into the veg box. They are back up to 900ppm, the same as the other plants.

2ml Hydroguard
3ml silica
3ml calimagic
4ml Micro
6ml Bloom
5.8 - 6.2 drift

Biggest tip is a good size rez!

I keep mone full just under my sprayers. The large amount of water buffers against heat in the rez!

Here's my homemade jobbie, cleaned out with a little bleach. Double rinsed for 24hrs.

99.9% success rate 5 years straight.

Plastic cause the netpots and collars are in the rez getting cleaned too.

Whats your on/off times?
I alway run 24/7 and leave them. Typically plantable in 7 days. Theres a point where the roots really take off and they gotta go to dirt super quick.

Best practice is to transplant way before they get this big for sure.
