Building New Room: Need input

After a long spring and summer trying to grow in my 4'x4'x4' grow cab, with disastrous results, I have decided to start from scratch by building a custom 8'x8'x7' room (see picture). The heat stress was too much and I ended up losing all but one plant, which I moved outdoors. In spite of the punsihment I gave it, it is currently re-vegging and is very bushy, and still showing hairs. Three weeks outside and No balls.

Anyway. The room would be divided into 2 rooms. One veg, one flowering. I am thinking about going with two 3'x3' ebb & flow tables in the flower room, Co2, 2 x 600 w lights (cooltube style) and carbon filter.

the veg room will have clones in rock wool cubes, and moved into the flowering room every two weeks.

So I am looking for input about dividing the room. Should it be in half or thirds with the larger portion dedicated to the flowering room?

How much can yield on a regular basis doing a "sea of green" style grow in this space?

Would soil be "better"?

What Have I forgotten?

Thanks people!!:peace:

An 8' by 8' room would be workable. I just went and marked it off it my flowering area. Two my 4' by 32" tables in that space would leave room for a mother clone area with some room to work around them, if you have a seperete place for cleaning your reses at nute change over etc. you might consider going just a tad larger and using four 2' by 3' tables if you are trying to establish a perpetual harvest. Who said I had little experience? I tried to grow in too small of a space in an attic that was reaching 115F. So I decided that if I am going to do it, then I'm going to do it right this time, and have proper air conditioning. Might as well make it a bit larger while I'm at it, as well.

yes soil would b better for a noob....
hydrophonics are a lot harder!
I've done hydro before (about 20 years ago) with buckets and clay pellets. I'm thinking of using ebb/flow tables but I want the organic taste of soil. Hydro is a bit more work, but a lot of it can be automated with all the sensors and constant Ph read-out devices they have now.
