Burning out 600W Bulb

I have four, (6") in-line air cooled bulbs installed in a 10x10 tent. #1 = 1k, #2=600W, #3=600w, #4=1K. My problem is that bulb # 2 will fire, but burns itself out after an hour or so. Another hour or two later it will fire back up for another hour before it burns out again. This has been repeating over the past week to 10 days (ever since it became hot outside). My question is...do you think it is a bad bulb, an electronic ballast issue, or temps as air is being sucked through the air cooling ducts? Any help most welcome. thanks.

swop over your 2 600w bulbs and see if bulb#3 fires ok in bulb#2's hood.

This way if its the bulb or ballast you will see easier.

Dont switch your bulbs! switch the light cords between your ballasts. same result less hassle! I am assuming you have matching ballasts and or universal connectors...
