Marketing should inform not deceive - if they are of a better genetic material then its worth it imo. For example IHG are $200+

I placed a valentine's day order from True North, couldn't resist the sell. Recieved order fast like always. Finally got them in cups. Out of the 4 seeds I planted 4 are up. Northern lights, Red Mandarine, Girlscout cookies, and Delicious Candy. Cant wait to see and results!! Sorry you all have had such problems, I find them very reliable. I throw them in water wait for them to sink, switch to paper towel then dirt in a cup then hydro. No problems here. All these post scare me but results speak for themselves!!

I ordered in April from TNSB in April. Took about 1 week for them to accept my e transfer and total about 17 days from order until i recieved my seeds (I live in Canada).
Ordered:

5 x Canuk auto fem OG Kush
5 x Canuk auto fem Northern Lights

OG Kush went 5/5 in germination
Northern Lights went 0/5 germination (under the same program as the OG kush)

I sent them an email regarding the northern lights on May 23rd so I'll report back when (if) I hear something back.

My friend also made an order through TNSB so I'll update if that arrives. They have accepted his e transfer so hopefully he'll get the shipping info soon.
thanks for the reassurance, i did just receive notice they have shipped 5 weeks in so fingers crossed

These are just sprouted seeds. That doesn't prove the veracity of their genetics... Proof is in the pudding. Sprouted seeds aren't results

Most of the stuff I see from Canuk is either fake or stolen. Probably just fake. Here are some examples:

That isn't Sour Diesel...

Uh stolen Cement Shoes from Cult Classics. And regs? Lol how'd they get his breedling male? Weird.

Oh man that's not Blue Dream lol

That's not DoSiDos, and dosidos is from Archive

That's not Gelato. They don't even say which one it'd be S1s of...

Uh lol not sure why they even posted that picture as an example, but that's not GG4
Dude of course these are not from original genetics, they never claimed them to be do they? They are just Canuk's versions that they've tried to recreate and copy. You know your not getting actual Gelato or Achive genetics here. For example Gelato, supposed to be from Thin Mint GSC x Sherbert, right? They show that they breed their's using Girl Scout Cookie x Cherry Pie. Yes it can be a bit misleading but its right there in the info and its pretty common practice with breeders these days unless your one of the OG's. They're cheap seeds, they don't charge top dollar and often at a discount. There's plenty of people with good results from them if you look. I'm close to harvesting three of their plants and the only problems I've had are of my own fault. Two are looking particularly tasty. Another 3 plants are 4-5 weeks in and looking just fine. Good beginner plants to learn on imo. That said i wouldn't order from them right now, seems they've gone MIA from recent reports. Just my 2c.

The blue dream I ran tasted like any other blue dream, it just wasn't a heavy producer. I like big solid heavy buds!! Every seed produces slight differences, if you find a good one keep it cloned!! I dont go trying a bunch of different seed banks! Who do you see as having the glory hole of seed banks? I ordered from them because it didn't cross any illegal state boundaries figured it was pretty safe! Now I think we have seed banks in our state or atleast one. But I got a few seeds to go through now!

There seems to be very mixed reviews of this place. I'll keep mine short since this is just from my experience and by the sounds of it, a lot of people have had great service. So maybe I just had bad luck. Long story short, things took forever, it took a month to get a reply for an update on my order and took another month to get my refund. Covid-19 was the excuse. I went to another seed bank and had seeds in my mailbox 2 days after the order was placed. That was my experience and won't try them again. Again, I'm sure they're a decent company from reading other people's experiences, this was just mine.

Within Canada and it arrived two days early. All looks good but time will tell.
I would buy from them again.

Hope people realize one day all the genetics from places like this are fake. Like he said above they sell you a name not the real genetics. They are the fake Gucci wallet of seeds.

I placed an order with them a few months ago. It was intercepted during shipping. I sent TrueNorth a few emails , weeks apart. Never heard back from them.

Email email email. Be very persistent with sending them emails. I downloaded Boomerang mail which allows you to pre set reoccurring emails to be sent. I had them preset to send an email every hour for an entire year. Took about a week but they finally got back to me with a bullshit copy and paste email about how covid-19 has effected them blah blah blah. But I'm pretty sure covid-19 doesn't prevent you from replying to emails. I was understanding about delayed shipping times, decreased staff and all that, but when a company flat out ignores you, then I have a problem. After receiving their bullshit email, I didn't stop sending the one email an hour. About a week later I got an email telling me that they should be sending my refund soon. Took about another week and a half (mind you still automatically sending emails) for them to send me my refund. Obviously I stopped with the emails afterwards. But that was the only way I could get any sort of contact. The thing that blows my mind is all the mixed reviews with this place. Sometimes I think we're not all talking about the same place because the experiences have been all over the place lol. I wish you luck in getting in touch with them and hope you can get some seeds soon.

So they steal names from successful, well-known strains to fool unsuspecting customers who have no clue of the lineage of the originals? And you are defending this practice?

Clever approach.. i knew a guy who designed a program to sign a person up for mass magazine subscriptions.. the target received so much mail from french post..it was piling up outside the home with pay later bills following after..

Every other breeder except for some of the originals that gave been around since the 90s or earlier are doing this guys. I'm not defending it, its just the reality of the industry if you haven't noticed it yet. There's no such thing as pure genetics anyways unless again you are one of the OG's that uses clones that can be traced back 20-40years. And as I explained, Canuk tell you what strains they use to created their versions, so just do 2 minutes of research and know what you're buying. No need to get all high and mighty on me dude.

So all the other breeders seeds fake also? True North sells other breeders seeds also! Tell me which places have these true genetics? I see people bitching that they are fake but know one offers any insight into who does! I dont have alot of experience with bought seeds, but its sure as hell better than hoping bag seeds work out. I'm not sure why everyone is so against them, I ordered from them because they wouldn't cross any illegal states to get to me! But if everyone bad mouths them why not offer some better suggestions! Or some proof of what your saying. I figured this thread was started by seed sellers in the US that dont like competition! I'm in Michigan give me some one I can try that's seeds will change my mind!! Where do you find these golden seeds? I'm not saying your wrong but atleast offer where these good seeds come from!

No one called them fake seeds. Their seeds are just their own effort at recreating a known strain. Finding out who started a strain is a simple google search away.

Most seeds are just an attempt to recreate a clone only cut, so your chances of winding up with anything like gorilla glue, chem, fruitloops, or whatever is pretty slim in a 10 pack. Some of the older strains and breeders do have seeds that have pretty good consistency. Newer stuff seems to be all over the place imo.

I had similar experience. Bought 5 canuk auto northern lights and not one of them germinated. I had these growing side by side under the same program that my 5 OG kush germinated perfectly so I know it wasn’t anything I did.

-Seeds too a month to arrive to me and 2 weeks just to get any movement on my order after payment

- when I emailed them about the Northern lights not germinating they took 8 days to get back to me and at first said they wouldn’t do anything, but after I pushed them they said they could offer me 3 free seeds but no explanation on how to receive said seeds. I responded same day and said ok I’ll accept (tired of dealing with them at this point).

Long story short, I still haven’t heard back. That was 10 days ago. VERY unimpressed with the customer service. The seeds are likely bunk, ill update on how the Canuk auto OG kush turn out or if they’re even autos at all. Pretty lame for any establishment claiming to be reputable to have a response time like this.

There have to be better options out there than these guys
