can i get away with hlg 260w veg n flower?

looking into buying my first real grow light not the little mars ufo shit or viaspectra shit. could i realistically get away with veg and flower with the light in the link or should i buy 2 small boards one for veg and one for flower. im completely lost when it comes to indoor lighting so any help is welcome. looking for a good quality light that wont bust my balls cash wise

That light will veg/flower a 3x3 space no problem. Depends on your space. Anything from HLG will do the job better than any Mars or VS.

should i get it in 3000k then general use, flowering?

Couldn't go wrong with 3000k. Run a few searches on the forum to gain confidence with your decision.

I'm running the 135w kit from HLG (3000k) and it is kicking ass in a 2x2 grow space. What size space are you working with?

Stephen if you read this. you guys should really make a graphic for your website showing the ideal footprints for the units.
I keep seeing people asking the same footprint questions over and over.

goig to go ith 4x4 or a tad bit smaller how do you like it? do hou feel like your going to need to get a veg specific light and a veg flower light or you like it for one complete cycle?

I got the 3000k for start to finish and it's doing a fabulous job. I went with the 3000 because I know that spectrum will do a good job in flower and it seems to slightly minimize the tendency I've seen for LED to produce super squat plants. If you are looking for 1 beginning to end light I'd definitely say go with either the 3000k or 3500k. The 3500 might be better if you have height restrictions and want to keep the ladies short.
