Yeah this is my first grow ... one thing iv come to realize is less is more and patience is key ...
You’ve learned a lot, clearly.
I agree with
@Horselover fat re topping and LST. I just hug and bend them spread out and down. Supercropping is great for when she just wants to climb into the light. And I alternate lights positioned at 12 noon: the standard - with lights at 10a or 2p position. That angle utilizes the plant’s natural growth pattern effectively without pruning, topping, etc, by simulating the strong morning or afternoon sun, depending on the degrees Kelvin of the lamp. I have three 280w lights, but I try to run only one at a time. I haven’t noticed significantly better yields by bombing plants with light, despite popular theory.
And there is simply no need for the unnecessary labor of scrog. It makes your canopy more symmetrical, undeniably. I’m not convinced it increases yield.
I’m sure that will offend someone, and I’m sorry, but I’m not a tinkerer who will spend many hours in his garden. I enjoy the canna gardening experience thoroughly: the visual, the wonderful aroma and the antioxidants. I’m also busy outside the garden
Happy harvest, sir
