jcdws covered it. preflowers, but bud wont start till u make it 12/12 unless its autoflower strain, im assuming not

turn the light's to 12/12 for 2 day's if u see pistals coming out then u got a girl if u see like little pod's then u got a boy

oh after u find out and u want to keep vegging then just turn them back to 24/7 it wont mess them up just dont go 5-6 days with the light 12/12

If you want a good chance at hermmies this seems like the way to go.....
That won't cause hermies, Its alot harder to get a hermie by light method than you think. Most hermies are that way genetically, not due to low amounts of stress. I have taken plants from full flower and put them back into 24 lighting many many times and have never had one go herman.

This is true but changing your light schedule is not the way to go to determine sex if time is of concern.This persons plants are 2 months old and I am sure pre flowers are already present.

The most common method is to force flower a labeled clone to determine the sex, rather than the incorrect method of forcing the seedling and then reverting it to vegetative growth again.
If you are a seedling grower who does not clone, or a grower who has no seperate vegetative and flowering grow spaces, the easiest method is simply to wait for the preflowers (primordia), and sexual maturity to appear while the seedling is still in vegetative growth. In other words, if you wait until they are 6 to 8 weeks old, most plants will show you their gender without any forcing.
Seedling growers who don't clone are really missing out on the full potency potential of their finished crop whenever they force their seedlings before they've become sexually mature.

it only takes 12 weeks (3 months) from seed to harvest(regular strains).
lighting problem or very slow at flowering???????.
i see some pistils but thats real slow flowering.
(92 days old from seed and ready. super skunk).

you can determine the sex of your plants the following way without forcing the entire plant into flowering with lst very easily... first get a brown paper lunch bag, second put this bag over one of your stems, third seal the bag so no light gets in, last remove bag and replace bag in a 12/12 cycle just like regular flowering cycle. this will cause just taht part of your plant to show sex, may take a week or two to be able to fully determine sex this way.
