Hi everyone,

Just noticing very few leaves on my very bushy plant that look like this. What could this be? I grow outdoors and i have tonz of insects around but am seeing both good and bad bugs and the plant is doing really well growth wise. Just noticed those weird leaves and wonder what could it be? There was a lot of rain for the past three days but now it cleared out.
again the plant is growing really well and very responsive and am just stepping into the early flowering phase and can see the tiny calix forming.20200805_194808.jpg20200805_194832.jpg

You splashed nutes or water on them and the light used the droplet like a lens, burnt a little. Thats my GUESS. Im a pothead. There are some legit plant experts on here that might be better.

haha...well i think you make sense given the rain that was here for the last couple of days...I hope others pitch in and give some other opinions that are interesting to hear.
Good thing it is only very few leaves from my very busy tree.
Thanks for you reply :)

Whats going on there is likely fungal. A high magnification would be required to say 100%.

@Renfro thank you for the valuable remark....well now that i have taken a closer look, i think it is fungal mold 100%..you are very correct.
Unfortunately i found tiny bit of it all over my plant so i cut all that i could see off, however since it is very bushy, there gotta be more :(
dunno what to do? should i isolate this plant? this plant is dense and stout and short.. i am afraid it will spread to the other three :(
I am just stepping into very early flower. Here are couple of pics of what i found and cut this morning
Could it be Botrytis? @Boatguy @ilovereggae @giantcola thanks for your input...i am so sad right now :(

Myth. The liquid will evaporate long before it could do any damage, even outside in the bright sun.
The water could cut off oxygen though and cause some rot to set in.

Burning is indeed a myth. The droplet would have to be suspended on trichs for the 'lense' to have a focal point on the leaf. This is what we gets when every kid in America cheated their way through highschool.

It isn’t Botrytis, as far as I know. It does not ever move to dense buds. In fact, it seems to be mostly lower, airy branches.

I have encountered this on a few plants on lower branches, and have clipped them with no ill effect or spread.

I wish I had a better answer, if someone could ID it it’d be great. @Renfro is a very experienced grower, any advice or direction?
