Well all I have are auto flower and feminized. But I have five seeds five different strains and so I’m gonna make five patches with one seedling of each, and vary the environment just a little and see what does best.Fence is to keep critters out , bamboo stakes won't do that . Fence is worth it if you can get it in there . It will last for several years, just take it down and hide it in the fall .
We used the green wire , sometimes wrapped with chicken wire . Nothing is 100% but it helps . Cut branches work to stake the fence down .
We kept it pretty simple but did lots of different spots . Average a dozen unsexed seedlings in each . Used our own mix of blood bone and greensand mostly , Espoma Garden Tone in a pinch .
Another thing that loves seedlings is slugs . They can wipe you out the first night . A ring of slug pellets around the spot helps .
I am going to germ and grow out to 2-3 nodes or 6-9 inches high in square nonwoven nursery bags which allow rooting. Small, square so pack nicely, and biodegradable. Lay those out, buy slug pellets, chicken wire, pis in a mason jar when working out side the house or whatever, god I sound sick, and crazy too, going to fill a jar with urine until it’s time and pour that all around the patch. Nute it, mulch it and come back in a week and not again for 4-5 weeks. God, that’s going to be hard, then after that, at start of flower, nute up again and then pray for no tropical systems. That, is my biggest threat to this.
Will be using roots organics microbe charge and flower boost when time. One last question for tonight. I understood or rather I read that mixing organic material such as the roots organic microbe charge alongside pellet chemical fertilizers doesn’t work well as the chemical fertilizer has a detrimental effect on the organics. Anybody want to chime in on that one go for it! Good night!
