Candyman from Shoreline Genetics

Candyman is sour grapes x Pakistani critical Kush & these are regular seeds so I will be taking clones & looking for a mother. I will remove the males, hopefully only 1 because I just planted 3 seeds (next run I will do a bigger pheno hunt)
#3 was stunted from the start do to bad soil. I had to transplant her to a different pot but now she’s flying.
Today I topped Candyman #1 & ‘D’ and I am attempting to clone them @ same time. We will see how it goes. From first glance I don’t think #1 will make it do to the fact that it is already starting to droop. Again time will tell.

I just realized that the Candyman #1 & ‘D’ clones are labeled backwards and I am skeptical about #1 making it. Time will tell

#1 is doing a lot better today, maybe he/she will make it after all (#1 on left)

Candyman #1 was showing signs of calcium deficiency so today I top dressed with dr earth 222 and foliar sprayed & watered with 90ppm of cal mag pH 6.3

Today I cloned #3 & cleaned her up a bit. I wonder if I can get that small cutting in pic 2 to root by just leaving it as is in the water bottle We shall see. It’s so small, it would be amazing if I could some how get it to root Also planning on flipping soonish (after recovery)

#3 did the same thing as #1 after taking cutting. I don’t think this one will make it either, but let’s hope it surprises us like #1 did. Also #1 is going to be female & the other 2 are still not showing yet

I’m about to transplant Candyman Clone ‘D’ into a 1 gal pot of straight ffof with no extra perlite that way they can feed longer She definitely got rootbound oh well, there was nothing I could really do about it cuz I was waiting on more 1gal pots

Candyman Clone 1 in trouble
It does not appear to be Hemp russet mites or broad mites I have scoped and have not found a single bug. Could PH cause this to occur? The only thing I could think of is earlier this week my water was coming out of the tab a little funny. I randomly decided to smell a gal. jug of water after I filled it up out of the tap & good thing I did cuz caught it smelled ‘soapy’ I shuck up the water and it bubbled up, so I am immediately poured it down the drain and continued to rinse out the jug until it was no longer soapy. Im thinking a gal jug slipped by before I caught the problem. I am in city water so maybe they added too much chlorine?

It looks like she’s pretty much made a full recovery. I believe it was the water, I have no other ideas which is frustrating.

I can tell these are gonna be some big thick ass roots already! Took a lot longer than the others, but I didn’t give up, I had faith

Candyman’D’ & 3 are both males Gonna get rid of them & the clones and flip to flower soon!

Holy fuck 26 days later & the experiment Candyman #3 cutting actually roots! *knock on wood* I’ve had 100% cloning success. Let’s go for 1000% and see if I can get the one in the last pic (Candyman #1) to not only root, but actually start growing some nodes. Update I got rid of Candyman ‘D’ but still not 110% sure about # 3 being male so I’m leaving it be for now

Candyman Clone #1 made a full recovery, this is 6 days after topping. She’s looking a bit light so I will brew a tea for next watering.

1000% success I can’t believe it actually worked, not only did it successfully root it looks like it’s going to start growing new nodes!

I just transplanted Candyman Clone #3 to the Ball Herb Growing kit. It’s a pretty cool little kit, it came with perlite, Coco, a bit of charcoal, and some 20-20-20 I’m going to try it out and see how it works with this clone that I took a while ago. Unfortunately I recently found the mother is male which would make it a father. I just wanted to see if I could get it to root, mission successful. It has been sitting in this water bottle on my desk with this huge root, so I just transplanted to the ball jar.
You’ve heard of the solo cup party challenge, let’s do the ball version! Lol.
