I am sure it will help... but you will need way more carbon than you van fit in your slatted doors....

My closet has had several upgrades in filters to find the one that works...

No less than 40lbs of activated carbon to remove ALL SMELL...

GO WITH WHAT YOU KNOW BRO!!! but I have a feeling you, as I did, will be upgrading soon...

Sorry if I'm I didn't read the whole thread but I just wanted to say that they work great. Take it from a guy who has over 200 plants going at all times with neighbors next door. Check out my thread. Oh yeah, your exhaust should be rated for you size room.
 
I think Ona Gel would work better for you than what you have in mind, you might want to check that out first.:peace:
