I am interested in grouping some interesting growers together for this next planned outdoor season in efforts to help eachother move along with a successful harvest. This will be my third grow outside (although i am temped to use this box of HPS and Halides i got for free). Who has beans in the soil now? What are your outdoor plans so far?

D&B - I am very surprised you have the germ going already. It is still cold, parts of California that never snow are SNOWING! I figured I should start a grow box indoor using my 35 gallon tank as a base for growing. As of tonight i just installed the reflective material in the fish tank. I have (1) of 4, 400w Metal Halide lights hovering above. Eight bagseed seedlings creeping out~

I getting ready to start some beans soon for the 2011 season! Choosing now. First I plant them in containers. Keep them in a little green house or under lights untill I can just leave them out most days. Covering them at night. When they get about 5 nodes tall I call tell the sex (due to the short days). I select the girls and boys. Share the rest. I put them in the ground on May 15th.

It seems as some of you have already started. Am I late? I don't think so. But I am a bit farther north.
