Cfl draw

There’s a clue in the wattage.

300w - which means for every hour it’s on it uses 300w or 0.3kwh.

are you baked because I am and it took a lot not to reply with a dickhead comment lol.
HAHAHAHA dident know it works like that but is it more efficient than a led ??

So a cfl that is 300w draws like a led that is 65w or am i miss understanding
LEDs vary in efficiency but in general are more efficient than CFL. If you want a simple answer, look at lumens per watt. Comparing white light, CFL is about 70 lumens per watt. HPS and MH can be 100-150 lumens per watt. LED can be over 200 lumens per watt now. whether a 65w LED produces more Lumens than a 300w CFL IDK it depends on the actual lamps.

I need a lamp that is more efficient than a led or as efficiant bot for a lower price
such a lamp does not exist.

Oook what light is cheaper to run a 300w led or a 300w cfl and thanks for explaning it to me hahaha bless
if you're talking about true power consumption they would cost the exact same but the LED would produce more light. potentially much more light depending on the LED.

sometimes when they sell LED they say "watt equivalencies" so make sure to look up true power consumption.

Generally half the vottage so 150w but a good cfl will draw slightly more. Id rate them at a third the wattage of equivelant hps so 100watts but thats imo and easily changed although a few grow some nice plants. Suggest two if you want to get much spread from them, one dosent light the biggest of areas.

Use the light you git and by the time you have done a grow you will have had enough time to decide which path your taking.
I have tried a 300w cfl and got really good yealds dont inow why so many peaple are hating them haha. I do want LEDs but i think its to expensive so i dont know if i should just keep using tje cfls or buy a Amazon led haha last grow i got about 90grams per plant with a cfl

CFL bulbs are really inefficient tech. At the very least, get some A19 LEDs from Home Depot or wherever and rip the diffusers off.

Cheap Amazon blurples are more efficient than CFLs.
