CFL suggestion's??

Hey I got a plant that sprouted about 4-5 day's ago and I put it right under my T-5 and right now I got 6 red blub's in middle(warm) and 2 blue to cover the edge's (cool) should I go back to the regular bulbs for now or im not sure cause with the red bulb's in it heats up alot so should I put it back to stock until my plant grows?? my litttle plantt is about a inch long I dont wana fry it already any suggestions would be awsome thanks

Sounds like you have a nice mixed spectrum there so no need to spend anymore unless you just want to add more lights (always good in a fluro grow).

The 'red' coloured bulbs shouldn't put out any more heat than the white ones. Warm white refers to the colour of the bulb not the heat output.

Cool whites and warm whites will give out the same amount of heat.

just from what ive been reading too..if you decide to add more cfl's, add the daylight 6500k (blue)..better for veg...the warm white 2700k (red) are better for flowering...hope this helps..:joint:
