Yeah I have also switched to HPS for the second time... though I could go back to CFL but the difference is just to great to not stick with HPS. Wait till you get some 400w in there whole new ball game. I picked up two ballast's hoods and bulbs etc for $150 on craigslist.. great deal lol

Alright, Here is my very first grow and all the specs on the grow room.

The Flower Room:
~Dimentions: 30"x48"x11&1/2" roughly = 2.5'x4'x.958333' which is just under 10 cubic feet.
~Lights (flowering): x2, 27w, 6500K CFL's - x8, 26w, 2700K CFL's
~Ventalation: x2, 50 CFM, bathroom fans for intake - x1, 450 CFM fan for exhaust
~All walls are covered with mylar, via (space blanket)
~Temps consistant at 80-82F
~Using MG potting soil/perlite - 4/1 (will NOT use MG soil again)
~Used MG All Purpose plant food for veg, and MG Bloom Booster for flower. Feed every other watering, and have to water about every 3-4 days now.
~Lights on 24/0 during veg, and obviously 12/12 for flower.

I harvested 42G's dry off this plant.

And now for the pix! :)

Thats good stuff Hookd' I unno about your experience but with the new MG moisture control I have had outstanding results, no extra feeding until flowering starts to pick up and then a organic bloom booster.

lol, no THATS crazy! For real now? You NEVER added ANY nutrients AT ALL?..

Well I was using the straight MG potting mix. Not the moisture control. And I liked it, I just HATE having those little balls of nuts in there. I like a soilless mix now, because I like to be able to CHOOSE when my plants get food. It has made for much healthier looking plants this time around. Not that that first plant wasn't helathy, I just had some nute burn problems. Now I have zero nute burn and the girls I have in flower right now are freaking gorgeous!

You say you don't feed any nutes either? Not untill late flower hu? Thats crazy man!..... For real? lol

Please, both explain your non-nuting method! lol, Or when you actually start feeding nutrients?...

Yeah for real, I agree you can get better results out there especially with a soil less or hydro setup, but for doing a low maintenance cheap soil grow I cant complain one bit with the new MG moisture control. I could prob get by without ever adding any extra nutes also but I do just to try and boost bud size, density etc.

Its great because it will only hold so much moisture almost impossible to over water. You do have to water a little more often because of that but I dont mind. Makes it easy to flush too.

ive NEVER added nutes and always had great healthy plants.MG moisture control has nutes in it already and will feed for 3 months.i finish regular strains in 10 weeks from seed(12/12 from seed) and autos ive done finished at 8weeks.no need to add em if there already being feed nutes.this is the only soil/and way ive grown.

It looks like a little bit less veg would have worked better.
generally cfl grows thrive when kept shorter. Just saying this Because your plants look a little bit stretched out.
just from what i've read tho...
I'll have a cfl box running this summer.
awesome pics everyone
