CFM Question

Hey so im running a 600w MH.. I have a 180 CFM exhuast hooked up (with ducting) to the hood which is enclosed with glass. I have included a crude sketch to help explain my question...Is this exhaust enough for my 5X5X5 room or is the hood restricting the airflow and therefore minimizing the effectiveness of the fan.

Get a 3 way split and have another hose for exhaust, you should really have 2 different exhaust fans, one for the light and one for the room

Or use the 3 way and add an inline duct fan, you can get them in 4 and 6 inch pipe sizes, my 4 inch runs @ 80 cfm

I would also add a fan to the intake side of the light and put a glass cover on it to really bring down the temps

i do have the glass up so temps not an issue and there is a strong pull of airflow on the intake side of the fan that can be felt, i also have a second exhaust thats hooked up to my filter, but its not up and running currently, i figured i didnt real need it until the odor control became an issue, do you think my current setup is adequate for the time being (for a few more weeks until i start to flower), or should i setup the second fan now for proper air flow

They will be fine vegging

They will start to stink 1st week into flowering

That is when I added my carbon filter and the smell is gone
