changing lighting schedule

alright well i have a confirmed female but i wanted to speed up my veg as much as possible would changing to 24/0 for the next 3 weeks before changing to 12/12 cause her to hermie?

stick with 18 - 20 hours of light....

if your plant is healthy, 3 weeks will be plenty of time for vegging..
how tall is your plant?
what lighting are you using?
how many plants?
container size?

kay gardengnome. its a 4 gallon pot its about 8 inches tall but very bushy from lst/pinching the top early for 4 growth node branches. its under a 400 watt hps and 2 40 watt daylight cfls. just 1 plant.

thanks for all the info.. becareful you dont over feed her... she looks great ... accept she is about to get nutrient burn if you don't back off... See how dark green she is.. that is the first sign that you are walking the edge..

looks like you got a great indica.. and you have grown her WELL.. with no stretching..... :) AWESOME!

Are you going to take clones?

I would take 2-6 clones now and then flower her in 7 days...

thanks that means alot coming from someone with your exp.

yea you can tell from the picture i had actually already had the starting effects but i have backed down from the nute solution for now. i do plan on taking clones soon yes. i am excited because i get to test my aerocloner i built from the faq. Learning alot from my first grow and this site and the people on it has made a phenomenal difference in my first grows. thanks for your advice. :D

It should do, it doesnt turn hermie cus you drop the hours down to 12 and thats the plant losing out on something.

You could do it over the space of a couple of days increasing it gradually maybe by an hour and half a day.
