Nice journal man ,nice strain also.Would love to try it myself ,but worried about the stink.. i belive chem is like the stinkiest of the stink ..am i right? I try to avoid the worst strains for stink cause i'm indoors ....how is the stink on it at the moment?
anyway just wanted to mention ,theres a product called bioheaven from biobizz that you should look into ..it has cal ,mag and a blend of amino acids and stuff that is supposed to optimise the plants intake of nutes and stuff.I know alot of people may think its a gimmick ,but i have used it always and never had a problem ,except one time i ran out and sure enough i started getting a def .. my 2c anyway ,take it or leave it.

I grew doc's chemdawg on my last cycle. Yes, it is the stinkiest of stinky. It's a great strain in all other regards, but I can't grow it again due to this issue. It also stretches quite a bit. The Cindy 99 you're growing is low odor. I'm growing Doc's Oh Zone for a third time and it's odor level is fine.
I fought this exact issue for a few cycles. It is definitely potassium definiciency.
I also pH my soil right from the start using some dolomitic lime (the powerdered type, not pellets). You'll never need to add Cal/Mag. I've tested new bags of FFOF and found some to have pH in the low 5's. I adjust to 6.5 w/ the dolomitic lime. If you blindly add too much you will peg the pH at 7 which isn't terrible, but not optimal.

never heard of it...i will look it up.
I've heard it is a stinky strain but right now it doesn't have much smell.
Not as smelly as Sour Diesel but stinkier then the Oh Zone. Strong coffee, skunkish smell.

I havent done the MTF but i've run the CS a few times. Based on what i've heard I would try the MTF.....unless you really want the old columbian taste. The CS is a really nice plant with a good yield and it has a nice taste. But its an old school taste and unless you really want that you may not like it. The potency is there for sure but in terms of my favorite Doc gear it would sit somewhere in the middle. I just watched a MTF grow and it looks very nice but maybe a bit of trouble growing indoors. The CS is pretty much a short squat plant...i think the MTF is a bit stretchy. Why did you decide against the C99?

maybe this will help for next timeday 1 of 12/12--- 40 days from seed......had a few problems along the way and i included pictures. Ive tried many things to help but so far I cant figure out how to stop it. It starts during the seedling phase and usually grows out of it. this one was taking longer then usual so i tried adding some cal/mg and it made it worse....take a look. plants range from 15 to 19 inches from the soil line.

hi JD. i stalked greenthumbs site, since 1999, wishing i could afford to try his gear. now that i can, my only experience with his stuff so far is the Bubba x og.
very easy to grow, and smells so dank. havent smoked it yet. as for the dope, i havent tried it yet. slowly but surely i will make my way through his menu though.

Yeah...i stopped doing journals at that time because of a lot of family health issues. The Dope is awesome smoke with a very nice taste and high. It is not your typical indica high though. One guy described it as "putting you in a bubble inside your head". which is a pretty good description. It makes you think, and think, and think.

no..i didn't even do a smoke report on the MTF....never smoked any.
its always a tough choice for me too. The CS has the old school columbian taste with a hint of dankness from the Endless Skies. IF you look at the "grow journals" section of Greenthumbs site you can find a report on the MTF.

Nice too finally see somebody grow these girls out, glad its you. How many weeks of flowing ?
Ive started using jacks classic..the dynamic duo.. but after reading more uncle ben Im going to try the jacks classic citrus 20 10 20. I was curious what youre using for nutes now.. Was there anything special nutrient wise with the freedom 35 ? I know its the wrong grow log but i figured i would save you posting in 2 threads
. I will be running 4 in a 4x4 tent once i top them and get them all sexy looking..Seems to me they stretched about a 3rd on you as well ?
Again, thanks for growing the pure chemdawg out, it may end up in my garden depending on your report. The iranian chemdawg was the most enjoyable pot Ive ever grown..but the smell scares skunks. I cant wait to see how they turn out for you.

I have the dynamic duo and the 30-10-10. For the 35 they seemed to like the N a lot but i mostly ran them on the 20-20-20. I think they doubled in size during the stretch. Im very curious about the 20-10-20...let me know how that works if you try it.
the Chem is just over 4 weeks into flower....i would have more pics but it seems life is conspiring against me right now. but...i should be able to get some up today as long as nothing changes in my day.
There was someone asking me about the Iranian Chem....do you mind if I send them your way to answer their questions?
