How many lights do you have in there for that beautiful plant!!!and how many lumens do u believe u have... are all the lights 2700s?? I've read your whole journal.. you've done an incredible job. Is the c99s pure indica ?? I'm rly thinking about getting some from seeing this but I intend to scrog with a much shorter veg time.

I"ve got a ScroG going with Master Kush from Nirvana and vegged about a month. VERY bushy girls compared to the Black Jack I grew last time. Overall hearty, too.

Im using 8 of these, 4 6500k and 4 2700k:
42-200eq-2800 lumen.jpg
42w (~200w)

And one of these:
maxlite.jpg
85w (~250w) daylight 5000k

for a total of 28,100 lumens.
Thanks!

(Also it could have something to do with my medium, some fox farms, perlite, and peat moss. :)

Day 48 flower, vegged for 2 months
Plant looks lovely. That a 5 gallon she in? How long you reckon b4 they finish? C99 a fast finishing strain according to the breeders info. How is that info matching up to your experiences so far? Seems to be too fast to be true and looking at your plant she looks 2 weeks away so 63 days or thereabouts I'm thinking. What you think. That sound right?
Either way. Enjoying the updates and keep up the good work.:weed:

Here are some more pics after I went and bought some sticks to hold up the colas after seeing one had bent over and kinda super cropped herself. Alot of the pistils are starting to turn orange, but still many white ones are still popping. Both plants were put into flower on the same day, 39 days ago, but the smaller one will take longer to finish since she still vegged under the 12/12 lights for a little over a month.
To anyone a little lost reading through the journal, I have focused it on 2 Cinderella 99s, one topped 3 times at the 4th node and vegged for two months while tying her down (bigger one), and the other straight let her grow normally, but started her in flower period.
Any question please ask.

Thanks!

Do you think if I have 6 42 Watt cfls of which I plan on doing 4/2 ratio during the grow (4-2700 and 2-6500) and ofcourse switch them for flowering. for one or 2 smaller plants with a veg time of only about 20 days and scrog. Would that be sufficient lumens?

It is not a question of sufficient Lumens. You can grow and produce flowers with a lot less! To answer your question directly it would be enough only for small plants if you can maximize 'double coverage' placing allowing the plants to share the same bulbs as much as possible.

You see my setup isnt much different from what you just mentioned. Give it a go, maximize your light by low stress training your plant and tying it down.

I was just going to top it two or three times then scrog. Thanks for the encouragement.. I've been reading tons n have done a few grows before but this will be the first tine I'm doing it with a plan and some precision. Keeping this stealth as well. Thinking of the fake dresser.. should work out good for my plans on lighting and the one or two smaller. Trained plants I think
Can you give me some tips on topping then? Do I do the 4th and 5th nodes.. and when doing so do I pluck the whole thing.. I heard to pluck almost all of it leaving alitle bit still on the plant.

On the second page of this thread, you can see where I topped mine on the fourth node. To leave a bit of leaf matter on the top is called "fimming" and is pretty much the same thing as topping, but I would definitely make sure you know what your doing before you do it. About a week before I topped mine, I had no clue how to top, but did some google searches and watched some videos and it all came out fine.
Once again on the second page I give some pretty good pics on how to top. Good luck!
