CLW Solarstorm 880

Wow, if those are legit and relatively new they sound like a great deal. If you're just rooting now you definitely have some time to follow some grows and see the final outcome. If you don't have 220/240v circuits or the ability to put one in, just make sure they're the 120v version, or you can consider buying a separate transformer (relatively cheap) to run them at 120v.
Lights were sold already...just heard back from the seller. Still looking!

Just wanted to follow up as I did get an e-mail back from CLW stating that the balance of warranty is transferable to me. Not going this route at this point, but wanted to pass along the customer friendly policy for others in case this comes up again.

Hello Mako,

My name is Eleanor and I handle customer service/support issues. You are absolutely correct. The balance of the warranty does carry over to the new owner. I hope I have answered all of your questions. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you,

Brandon,

Apologies as I didn't make myself very clear. This is a resale unit from a previous customer of yours. Unit is only 4 months old from what I'm told and just trying to confirm if warranty transfers to me for the balance of time applicable.

Thanks, Mako

Thanks for the interest in California LightWorks product line.

Yes, there are several online vendors carrying our NEW SolarFlare and SolarStorm LED systems. I can easily extend a Price Match on any valid sales that vendors have, just email a link to the sale and I will reply with an invoice for payment.

Many times customers prefer going through the manufacturer/source when making significant investments rather than relying on a third party vendor. We can certainly accommodate a direct sale if you are interested in purchasing any of our LED lighting system(s).

Factory Special Discounts for additional savings (up to 30% off) on bulk purchases available!! I can guarantee the lowest pricing available with direct sales from our Canoga Park warehouse.

Feel free to drop me a line or give me a call if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Brandon D. Parham

Now I could be wrong as I'm still learning some of the ins and outs of leds too. Tons of info good and bad out there and sometimes can be misleading. But what you discribed to me sounds more like what would be considered a multi chip led not a true cob. I'd stick to the a51 and onyx options over that one from what I can tell so far. Or build your own COB unit.

Click on my thread to see how well the BML SPYDR did in a 2 x 4, though fully open it provides even light distribution over a 3 x3 nd is said to cover 4 x 4. It's $999 and IMO a better deal than the CLW + other lights

Man, I really like the looks of that AT600. Not cheap but seems top notch quality and output. You have a grow journal going with it?
I'm just about to start a new grow journal tonight. Look for it in the "Grow Journals" section. I should have it going in about 2 hours from now.

Subbed - look forward to your impressions in case I win the lottery or find out I'm getting a ton of money from a distant relatives inheritance! (Or bite the bullet and out it on some plastic...)
