ok, first time grower so obviously ima first time co2 use.anyway since i put co2 in,like a week after i started 12/12 i cant keep the heat down for nothin! Im like @ day 50 of 12/12 and the temps sometimes get as high as 85 if i dont keep the central air going all day.the humidity is perfect.so at this stage in the game what is the highest i can let the temps before the heat is hurting my plants???

some strains can tolerate 100+ temps but only for a small amount of time. do you have a fan in the room? 85 isnt bad. its a lil high but its definately not that bad of a temp

and from what i read about using co2 your temps can run a lil high, correct me if im wrong but ive read that a few times about co2

You want to have your temps higher when you are using co2. 85 is actually perfect IMO but don't let it get to 90 in there. Make sure humidity is low and if youre doing hydro that your water temps are normal as well. Good Luck.

Yea i know co2 will increase ur temps.but u say 85 degrees is perfect?so would i be better off keeping temps at 85 w/ the co2, or would it be better to keep my temps like 10 degrees cooler??? Say like 73-75 degrees???

With CO2 plants can handle higher temps. 85 should be ok with CO2, ive heard of up to 90-92 with CO2, but I personally wouldnt try that high. How are the leaves looking?? They will tell you if temps are too high

ok,i just found some archives of high times magazine saying when useing co2 80-85 degrees are optimal temps, and to signifacantly lower, if not cut your co2 off in the last two weeks of flower, because co2 can lower the potency of ur crop. dont kno how true that is but high times usually dont print something if it aint true.

Thank you, but are you saying that if the temps. don't get above 80F 85F, than I should be ok to use co2 all the way through flowing, even the last two weeks? Or are you saying never use co2 in the last two weeks of flowering?

Well it depends how high the concentration of co2 in the air is. You can have your co2 up at 1600 ppm (yes I've seen higher levels don't think it's neccessary tho) with the temp up at 85, which I wouldnt go any higher than. If you drop your temps than drop your levels of co2 your plants won't be using it. Regarding the last couple weeks, you definately want to lower the co2 levels but how much is argued about all the time. I have never seen any proof that high co2 levels at the end of flower effect potency. IMO don't cut it off all the way, drop to around 400-600 ppm along wth a slight temperature drop. Good Luck.

I'm hitting as high as 89 degrees I got co2 constant at 1450 and their looking bomb I'm at day 25 as a matter of fact I got two rooms at once with the same strains and they look the same to me. I will continue to report on the high temp co2, also provide photos , from my own personal knowledge. Drink Guinness
