anyone ever use CO2BOOST?any reviews on this product?also looking for your thoughts on rerouting my natural gas water heater vent pipe and letting it vent into my grow room to add co2.good idea?bad idea?your thoughts.......ps my room is approx 12x12,ventilated,multiple fans, ocean forrest soil and maintains a humidity level of 40-45rh.im trying to fine tune for maximum harvest and co2 is about the only thing im not controling.

if u want to reroute a gas pipeline to your growspace you need to know what you are doing. and ussually if u have a co2 generator inside the growspace it will get very hot easily. I like to keep my co2 generator outside in its own space and use a blower to vent the co2 into the grow space.

hey wafflelover, lol im a licensed plumber and run gas piping reg.what i was reffering too was the vent pipe the carries the already used natural gas(co2)outside the home.i was thinking of diverting it to the grow room where it would insert co2 into the room, then it would exit through my exhaust fans back outside.i am not familiar w/co2 generators.i was looking for a quick fix to add co2.i will do some co2 generator research thanks for the idea.ps ever used or heard of the product co2boost?its in a can with a pump, lasts 2 months with constant use and costs approx125.00

Oh well that would be a awsome idea, i believe its the blue flames that produces co2 this is what the co2 generator do. If you want to do it like that first u need to check to make sure your not wasting your time i think the best way to go is to first check to make sure it is co2 that is being produced by the water heater burner by using a cheapo co2 test kit. Then get whatever size aluminum duct and direction it towards your growspace(probably 4inch or 6inch) and from that aluminum duct place a inline fan there, and after the inline fan just go flexible aliminum duct all the way into your grow area. i like to run mines into my ac vent and into the room along with the cool air so that i won't have to punch any holes in the wall. Goodluck.

i was wondering the same thing about the gas furnace,i was a fitter for years before my accident, and if i recall that after it is burnt it become carbon dioxide,no.but what about the co2 from the pilots on a gas furnace they have like 10 flutes burning all the time in small amounts.would that be like a co2 generator, waffle house how much heat does a co2 generator give off.

alot of heat, it would be equilivant to a heater depending on how many burners are burning. But the co2 gen i have is a 4 burner and it gives off a fair amount of heat so before u try this step make sure your grow space is cool about 75degree, with that co2 added at a optimal interval timing it will probably idle at 80. If you can co2 adding into the growspace along with the heat it will get hot as your ac can't handle it but if u put it into a timer you can maintain your temps. I think someone on here had a tutorial on how to make a temperature controller.

wafflehouse i was wanting as much heat as possible with co2,were i live it can be 30 below for a month strait, how much propane do you burn in a 12 hour interval, and how big of space, thanks

i have a 4 burner i dont know how many cfm it produces but i know a 5gal propane tank does last 2 wks with my photocell on(photocell turns off my burner when the light period is dark). But if your looking to warm your growspace it can help but if u put the burner directly inside the growspace it might warm it up way to much and even flactuate the temperature. During winter i had a stove burner to try and use it as co2 but i had a problem keeping my temperature at a steady temp and i think i made it worst by shocking the plant so i took it out.

if you dont know the cfm of it,what is the size of the room it is being used in.

10x11, it got soo hot in there that i had to move it outside the growspace and vent it into the growspace, that helped alot. but im guessing thats also wasting a lil bit co2 but thats ok its cheap.

thats what i read each burner produces 3cf per hour,if your only burning 5 gal of propane every two weeks that great, how often and how long does yours fire for per 12 hours, thanks again.

i wouldn't know because i also use a co2 controller. It actually depends i also have a exaust in my grow room so the co2 depletes very quickly so im not really using it efficiently but its still cheap the co2 im producing with a co2 generator in conjuction with a controller.

Mr I Can Do That For Half
I have seen the co2 buckets your talking about they sell them everywhere even on ebay but havent used them.I think video or fdd did before I think. I use co2 tanks with electronic solenoids on a timer.I inject during the 12 hours lights on for about 3 minutes per hour trying to keep ppm around 1500 and temps around 90 as the plants need higher temps around 90-95 F to use it correctly. You will also so have to seal the room so no air is in or out.Venting and exchange will be only twice in 12 hour period as you dont wanna put co2 in then exhsuet it out. A fan down low to the floor blowing up is need as co2 is heavier then air and falls. My 20 lbs tank setup lasts about 2 weeks for my 8 x 8 x 12 foot rooms and a refill is about $28.Generators are great ebay has good prices for them.Few options for the heat if its too much. A portable in room a/c unit fixes it or you can buld a sealed steal box that the generator sits in with a single 4 inch inline duct fan and a length of vent line. The unit goes in nice and sealed then the fan comes on sucking the co2 from the box into the room while the generator sits outside in its box.Hange the box as it will get hot .traet it as a hot plate.Good luck

I'm looking for some basic information on CO2 burners. I have a 4 burner unit and no sniffer so how long should I burn it for optimum CO2 levels? My room is about 10x10 with another 4x8 room attached. Air movement is excellent. Do I turn off the fresh air intake as well?
