10 days into 12/12 and my ph run off has gone from 5.8-5.7 for the entire grow to 5.3-5.2 ph going in has been 5.8 dead nuts every day I feed and water one thing that I did Chang is the ppm of my feed I stayed at 400-500 ppm the entire veg cycle and one I hit flower I bumped them up to 700 my ppm run off is 620-660 so theirs no build up.... I. Stuck what the hell is going on????? Using coco tek a and b bloom

Ignore your run off. I never measure my coco/perlite run off. Worry about your feed's pH going into the plant. You want your nutrients and water to be right about 5.8 in the 5.5 to 6.0 range. Every 2 weeks I pass a good amount of liquid through her to flush any retained nutrients and then I'm back to feeding the next day. My girl day before yesterday. She's surviving :) I took it to show someone supercropping.

imo this just means that they are drinking more then they are eating.
more water is being used then nutrients so you ph drops because of a higher salt content

When I bump them past 600 my runoff ppm is always 700+
i see.
the plant is telling you that you can save on nutes for a little bit by just continuing to feed them at 400-500 ppms like you were.
are you growing sativas?!
if there showing deficiencies or toxicity then they are picky eaters.
if they are doing what your dealing with right now, then they are just light feeders

Ok thank you I appreciate the wisdom and no their 60%indica 40% sativa they grow like bushes and 11 days into 12/12 and they only grew about 5” so far...... a lot of people that I’ve talked to near me and in hear say I’m waaaaaay under feeding one guy who grows at the local shop said to start them at 1000ppm as soon as I flip them but idk man black widow isn’t really a common strain amongst the grow community but I can tel you I measure ppm run off every morning at 5am from day one and up to week 6 iv veg they where being fed under 400ppm and never stoped singing at me every time I opened my tent...... I’m going to back them down to 550 and start adding great white Microhaizi again idk y I stoped

yea, i personally make sure to be around 800 900 going into flower.
other then that they look fucking good bro. and to me it looks 60 % sativa 40 indica
like the others have said dont worry about the run off numbers.
i see no sign of nute burn or ph burn so i would say hit them off proper.
give them 1 feeding at 900 or 1000 at a ph of 6.0 6.1 and see how it goes.
when u fed them at a ph of 5.8 but would drop to 5.3 which is too low... if u did 6.1 it would drop to 5.6 or so which would be more ideal then 5.3

I gave them a feed of 700 yesterday and saw some clawing and very slight burnt tops at the lower branches

First are you 500 or 700 cal for your ppms.

the reason I ask is that I feed daily at 1.2-1.4ec. That’s about 600-700 at 500cal and 850-950 at 700cal.

I only use a DUTCH PRO hydro coco GROW a/b with added Ca.

feed every day at 1.2-1.4 with pH around 5.5-6.0. As long as it’s within this realm I’m happy.

Pics are CRITICAL+ by Dinafem.

I’ve only got 2 under my 400w for now and one is an auto.

not sure how long into flowering. Maybe 4-5 weeks of 12/12.

I don’t really count flowering weeks etc any more. (Been growing for 11years) just grow then until they’re ready.

After mixing my nutrients my PH comes out to 6.5 and I water with that. Renfro has a big grow journal on here and he prefers to water at 6.5
I'm not sure if plants in coco enjoy a higher PH (6.0 - 6.5) than deep water culture but if its working then there is no need to fix(break) it.

I learned that when in NFT. However my understanding is Coco provides a buffer substrate with an occasional microbial herd which can hold, and to some degree process, dried salts until osmotic conditions are such you get a higher or lower run off reading making these data unreliable.

I really encourage you to stop measuring run off. It's meaningless in coco since you build up excess salts on the substrate that are removed by an osmolar gradient when you water once every other week with either tap water or a low TDS nutrient solution (roughly about 200-300) to set up the gradient. That's the flushing you should do in hydro and partial hydro.

I add Great White every time I transplant. I run around 600ish in veg with my Ca, Mg and Si nutrients. With my base nutrients and hard tap water 250 ppm, I'm usually 350-500.

Here are my girls, right now, on the veg table heading to the flower table after I finish chop next week. Almost all different strains. I strain and pheno hunt for pain properties and breed the best I find.

What do the guys plants look like at harvest? Many people bump up the PPM's to levels I would never use and harvest with crispy fried leaves that many people these days think is normal. A healthy plant ready for harvest will not have crispy fried leaves. The only thing that should be crispy fried is chicken. You can harvest a fully ripe plant with healthy green leaves.

Well said! When taking advice in a grow store it's important to note the principle of "cui bono" (who benefits). I've harvested tons of lovely green girls that smoked like tasty velvet.

Although your fried chicken reference makes me want chicken for breakfast LOL you culinary pied piper you.
