ok yall, i think im reaching some final stages on sum of the buds, i saw on BKB pics he chopped the top cuz it was done and undergrowth was almost there....which answered my question if I could cut off whatever was ready early and let the rest grow...anywho!! heres some pics of the flowers, the white to brown ratio is about 80 white 20 brown...should I flush the system for a week now?? how will flushing the system affect what i cut down now opposed to what I cut later??????? serious inquiries folks, need your help!!!

Do not go on the hairs thats a fools game get a microscope from radio shack they have lighted 60x-100x scopes for $12 and look at the trics until you have grown out a bunch of diffrent strains you cant just look with you eyes and even then its best to scope it. I take 2-4 harvests of each new strain. One when they are fully mature but still clear one when they are almost all cloudy with some amber then i take my last harvest when its almost all amber that way you get to see the full efects of each strain and each ripeness. If you harvest now you will be so pissed off when you smoke that you still have 3-5 weeks from the looks of it. 8 weeks is just a guide and very few strains are finished in such time. When a breeder states 8 weeks you bet your ass its gonna run longer if you want the couch lock high unless you have the same pheno and exact perfect grow room i dont even want to know how many watts they run in their breeding rooms prolly more then one house could push with standard breaker. Also when flower and growing under cfl that extends the flower cycle so i would say 10 weeks is the earliest to be able to harvest i dont cut anything untill the 10th week atleast when i flower with cfl. If you can afford it i would suggest putting in 42watt 2700k cfls they are 2800 lums each so if you replaced the amount you have with the same amount of 42watts clfs that would double you output and make them buds swell. Also a HPS puts out the same heat as the same amount of CFL so if your running 400 watts of cfl you could run a 400w hps and have even more light output/Lums. Your buds will be bigger more dense and finish faster just throw some 6500k cfls in with the hps and your golden but cfl lack on the yield side. Also pop cans work great for the 23-26 watt cfls just cut them in half and open the mouth slip over cfl and you got yourself a reflector. Double sided tape and emergency blankets work great for a poor mans wall covering and its super cheap also you can change the covering each grow with out breaking the bank so you can clean your room down thats a must every couple months to maintain a healthy clean grow room.

ive been using pure CFLs for this grow 6500k daylights/veg and 23wa 2700k flowering, and i have no complaints about em AND I have a bunch more bulbs i could throw in, just need more bulb splitters/adapters, those 42watts sound interesting, ill look em up!....i have a 30x jewlers scope but now i realized how much my eyes suck so ill be looking for that 60x, the trics are still clear, i was just pointing out what my hairs were doing at this time and what experience others have had at this stage. So i still have a month left, basically.well yea makes sense, i started her mid oct early nov i believe....stupid cat hair keeps flying around getting stuck on the leaves flowers!! and its funny, cuz before i started growing, when id buy weed, id always wonder why there was hair sometimes mixed in when i broke it up...NOW I KNOW WHY AND HOW! anywho my grow room is clean as far as i know lol, unless someone messes it up.

Google is your best friend. √

The best way to describe a phenotype imo, is this....well actually imo it's the exact same thing. Humans have different races that set us apart. Different races look different, talk different, and think differently. Now, that's the first part of a pheno....each strain has different phenos that more or less, look different, smell different, and produce a different high.

Second Part:
Obviously you know who you are today and how you've become that, but let's think about what would happen had you grown up in Africa or Australia. You would be a completely different person, because you're body and mind have adapted to the different situations you encounter. Not to mention you would probably be majorly tanned (Assuming you are white) because of the difference in temperature and more time in the sun. Plants re-act the same way. Me and you could have the exact same pheno type, but since my environemnt is different, it might re-act in a different way. Mine might have a higher leaf to bud ratio, or grow bigger and stronger, because our temperature, light intensity, food, humidity, etc are different.

F1's +:
You are an F1 of your parent. Both of them are from a different genetic pool, and have created a completely new make-up with you. Now, say you and your sister had a kid. That would be an F1, because it's still the same genetic make-up, just a more "Fine-tuned" result. Now, because were humans your kid would probably come out with 3 nipples and 2 arms, but plants don't work this way...If ya'll worked like plants do, then you would probably have a kid that has a higher chance of Looking and acting a lot like you and your grandparents....Now if you had a boy and a girl and they had a kid, then it would be an F2. The higher the F number goes, generally the fewer pheno-types you have.

All you experienced guys, please slap me in the face if I have all of this wrong ><

so f1s/2s are basically bomb ass smoke and what to buy? sorry for my ebonics, and i am white! haha ;) so if i chop a limb give it to a friend, is that considered a pheno since its same plant but differnt environment..or do you mean like having the same mother plant but a different growing mediums ie: hydro, soil

I mean if you had 10 seeds that you bought of the same strain, and gave 5 to your friend....you and your friend could end up getting the same pheno, but his re-acts different because of his environment change. Hydro and soil is a good example of what could change the outcome of your pheno-type.

Generally F1's especially, and F2's tend to be less stable. It all depends on the breeders standards as to wether or not your gonna get what you want of your plants.

F1 is just a label. It's the first time these 2 strains have been crossed before, so every pheno-type within it's genetic pool (strains of origin) is a possibility. Once you find "The best pheno-type" of each sex, you cross them to have a more limited average of pheno-types. Now this doesn't mean that you can't still get a great, great, great, great grandparents pheno but the chances are much much slimmer the further you breed your strain.
