$90 plus shipping for 5 fems hurts. 5 seeds of a pollen chuck means I’m probably going to run into some intersex and shit plants in there and don’t want to toss $20 seeds. If there’s a sale at some point I’ll grab some. That SSSDH was great smoke back in the day.

3 x Chemdog psychosis ladies!

All are growing well in a coots mix with minor top dressing and occasional teas.

All have a nice stinky stem rub.

The middle plants has slight burn and is the sensitive one in the bunch.

The plant in the last picture already has the “funk” and from the stem rub and structure is looking promising.

Most likely flipping end of the week.

Unfortunately I was wrong!
It was also the plant with the best structure, stem rub and node spacing.
It had the hollow stems I’ve heard can be a good sign of it passing on drug traits down into its offspring.
I only popped three (definitely not enough) to get a rough idea of what the strain is like and if it finishes well I’ll be running the rest.

I wish I could report happy endings, but I placed a $700 USD order with Connisseur back in May and I never received anything.

I reached out a few months ago and let him know, and he said he'd look into the tracking, and then I get the run-around about 3-4 times.

I figured out the first package he sent got misrouted (maybe?) due to not including USA in the address. OK, that's weird, but plausible? I've ordered from plenty of other countries and never had that problem before. You'd think the UK post would know what a US address looks like?

Then he goes on this trade show vacation a few weeks ago, he told me to email him on the following Monday so he can take care of it. Now it's 3 weeks later and nothing. He's not even posting a hundred photos on Instagram every day now.

Did this guy go full on exit scam? Seems hard to believe but I'm still out $700...

I havent paid attention to his IG lately, are you saying he isnt posting there now??

If thats the case, something must be wrong. Either he got into it with the law or sick or something because hes always very active on IG.

He was actually pleasant to deal with when i ordered, sent my stuff right away and I got it fast.

I haven't seen him post in about a week (not really counting accurately) or so. Before that he was at some sort of cannabis trade show, and that is about the time I received my last email. He's definitely one of the more prolific IG posters out there, so it's weird...

We've been going back and forth on this missing order for months now... I thought he had re-sent my order once previously, so I gave it lots of time to show up, but here it's nearing 5 months later and nothing.

Yeah, I am suspecting sick or in quarantine or something but who knows?

Or maybe his IG account just got nuked, or he somehow figured out who I was and blocked me? and he's ignoring my emails... not really sure exactly... I haven't interacted with anyone on IG, I just lurk and follow.

Damn didnt realize its been MONTHS.....sorry man, ive only used him once and he came through....and his Amnesia Hazy Jones is the nicest looking in my tent currently.

I hate when the guys who have the fire are the ones that act the shadiest.

Out of the dozens of seedbanks and breeders I've interacted with over the past years, he's by far one of the shadiest unfortunately. When I first reported my order missing (after waiting 7 weeks just to make sure it wasn't being slow...) he pretty much yelled at me in email, with lots of expletives. He eventually calmed down and I thought we were working this out but I'm still waiting. Meanwhile, I've received dozens of other orders from much more reputable breeders, thankfully, so I'm not super concerned about it, but still... $700 is a good chunk of change I could've sent to AK Bean Brains or someone else who FedEx's shit right away.

I have been calm the entire time because I know things happen and I've been ordering seeds for 20+ years. I have given him lots of leeway, too much probably. I should have disputed the Paypal charge months ago but I didn't want to do that, because I really want those genetics...

Yeah, I posted about my order back in May, in Page 1 of this thread. I was so stoked because I'm still growing the Girl Scout Haze Cookies and wanted to add to the collection. The May freebie give-away promotions I was going for seem too good to be true now... :-(

You can get crosses of it on seedbay theres that x 78 thai or nevils haze or kush from bushweed seeds i was looking at the haze cross myself never tried mm yet unfortunately heard good things tho

I won't go into great detail about what his response was, except to say that he said he would re-send (for the second or third time now), but it wasn't going to be high priority for him. It was reiterated to me that because I forgot to include USA in my address, it's my fault for the initial package being lost. I can accept that, but he also apparently lost the tracking number for the initial order so can't tell me what really happened either. My initial order was in May of this year.

I'm hopeful again but golly, this has been an ordeal. I really just want to grow his stuff, enjoy it, and post reviews...

Glad hes gonna send it man....honestly I had a great experience dealing with him....hoping that THIS time, you have the same.....keep this thread updated, ive wanted to buy more from him - but have been holding off until he rights THIS wrong for you....too many places to get FIRE gear without dealing with bullshit....so 1st sign of bullshit makes me hesitant lol

Still nothing from Connoisseur. Original $700.00 order placed in May. Seller screwed up and did not keep tracking, so can't even prove he shipped to me in the first place. Refuses to re-send even though I was completely nice and civil in my communications at all times. I held up my end of the deal, and he's seemingly unable to hold up his.

There are dozens, or hundreds of breeders and seed banks that are more worthwhile to order from today. Maybe back in the mid 2000's, when this guy was getting his groove on these strains were exotic enough to be worth it, but now it's not. No amount of shitty customer service, rude attitude, and customer-blaming is OK. This is 2021, and we have a TON of legal seed outlets now.

You are better off going with literally anyone else other than this guy. This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had, and now I'm done worrying about it. If you want a vendor that will blame you for all their problems, then by all means, use this one.

In the time since I placed my order with Connoisseur, I have received thousands in orders from Heavily Connected, AG Seed Co, Shoreline OG, AK Bean Brains, DC Seed Co, Mandala Seeds, JBC, Dagga Love, TexCanna, Full Power Selections, Alex Hardi, various things on Strainly, etc.

Do yourself a favor and just steer clear.

That sort of behavior is totally unacceptable, and he's obviously shady to claim he lost tracking on a $700 order and that he resent it 3 or 4 times. Well, you live and learn man...hopefully your experience will save other RIU members some grief. My current grow is 4 strains ordered directly from Old School Genetics in Spain. I placed my order, then didn't hear back for a couple of weeks, so I sent him an email when I realized I never got a tracking number and it turned out my order was never sent. The guy was horrified, so he upgraded the size of all my packs, sent lots of extra stuff and mailed it by UPS International Express or something...I got the package two days later from Barcelona to the US...That's what I call service! He actually lost money on my order to make it right. It makes me so mad when I hear stories like yours because there are a lot of shady cats out there selling seeds. I just mentioned my experience because there are a lot of good guys too. Good luck!

I wish he would've resent! It would've likely got here just fine.

He refuses to resend even once, and I don't even know why?! He just copped an attitude right away and started blaming me. It got worse as I sent follow-up emails every 6 weeks after patiently waiting and receiving nothing.

It's just bad all around. Bad, bad, bad.

Damn sorry about that man. Ive had nothing but good interactions and only ordered once but was happy with what I got.
