Yep all the locals use them for herbs and veggies. I just punch some 20mm holes in the corners and a few in the middle and seems to work well
Yep i never did but i soon learnt i had to.I used the foam box cos i run out of pot as i used them for my 40 plus chilli plants lol...in the off season i might put 2 autos in side by side in a foam esky just for something to do

Send me some of those chilis!! My mate brought me a load over from England last time he was over so I plan to get some going. I grew a Dinafem Critical 2.0 Auto in a small one and it did great.

Beauties!! My mate from England is a "hot pepper gardener". I have some Thai locals, quite selection of what he calls fiery reds, purple jalapenos, then couple breeds of gosts waiting to plant. I plan to get some more eskies going when I get back home from this long work trip.

Aye I once had a small piece of one during lunch on a dare and I couldnt put that fire out for an hour. The piece was fkn tiny. Milk and ice cream finally killed it

Ha, well thats where they would fck me; shipping anything into and out of this country is a joke. They usually like to randomly assign whatever they feel that moment. Just yesterday they randomly assigned a 200 dollar tax on a vape pen I had shipped over with a gift value of 1 dollar :( ; fuckwits!!

On the stryofoam ice chests, they are very plentiful around (and cheap) where I live as people use them to pack seafood. They seem to work pretty well and they also do breathe well. All my veges and other herbs are grown in styrofoam chests.

They could care less if you smoke in public. I smoke joints like cigs everywhere I go. The only stares will be from tourists as locals view it as something an old farmer would be toking on; locals just think its strong tobacco. In the country next door its used commonly as an herb in soups, curries, etc so gives you an idea of views.
I was kidding about the shipping, but it sounds like the customs officers there aren't; that's a mighty expensive vape pen you got (including tax). That's pretty ridiculous. Maybe you can take some six packs down to the customs center until they remember your name and maybe they'll chill out on the taxes, ha ha.

Even though I liked your pots, if I had a choice between those and some big Styrofoam coolers, I'd pick the coolers. I prefer for the plants to have more than enough root space and those pots don't look like they hold a lot of dirt. Did you put any holes the bottom of the coolers?

That's cool you have the freedom to toke and grow like you do. I have the freedom to grow, but only with a MMJ permit and smoking in public places is common here too, but not like you're talking about; definitely no smoking around cops here. Not that they would necessarily bust someone for smoking and possessing a small amount, but they'll confiscate whatever you have on you or make you destroy it. Which is still better than getting arrested, but not cool. Fortunately, there's hardly any cops in the area that I live and I've never seen one on any beach and also most of tourist areas.

If the country next door serves "Happy Pizza" and has their fair share of weed smoking tourists then I'd guess I know which one you're talking about.

Customs here is a complete sham. I wont give them the pleasure. Ship that pen back and I'll have someone hand carry it over though it does piss me right fkn off that I cant do something to better my health immediately and I need to wait to get it some other way.

On the coolers, yes, I punch 1" holes around the 4 corners and some down center and that seems to take care of that end of things.

Ghosts chillis are killer !!
I used to grow Ghost Peppers, Habaneros and Hawaiian Chili Peppers when I lived on the Big Island (Island of Hawaii) and when my first Ghost Pepper was ripe I ate the whole thing with dinner. I have a good tolerance for spicy peppers and I thought it was definitely spicy, but not unbearable. Later on though, I woke up at around 3:00 in the morning and it felt like there was a wire brush on fire in my intestines. I could actually feel the curls of my intestines; it was intense. After about half an hour I was able to go back to sleep. That's the only time a hot pepper has: 1. woke me up from a dead sleep, 2. made me aware of my innards. I cut back to only eating half of one at a time.

Off to bed for me. TTYL :)

Damn rikdabrick that sounds like some true bubbleguts hahaha. Sorry sitting here laughing my ass off.

Me and a mate were working in Southern India and went into this bar/restaurant after work in the evening. He ordered chicken lolly pop and there were so fkn spicy the first one blistered the roof of his mouth. He drank fluids for a week after. Thankfully my stomach is made of iron
