Hi. Tonight I plugged in my cutter kit. The ambient room temp was about 16 degrees. My cxb3590 @1.4a heatsinks were about 41 degrees after 30 minutes. The drive was cool though. Anyone knows if these will be ok when in summer the ambient temps reach 38-40c ?? Anyone know the max temp the heatsink can safely get for my cobs to last ?

When I order from Cutter, I receive a text or email from DHL with a link to the package for tracking & delivery options.

Wow! That´s fast.
Usually international orders get in my country in 2-6 days, but it takes almost 1+ MONTH to receive in my house. Not to mention the 60% custom's tax on every international package+shipping fees!! Just to give you a base comparision: one MAU5-Kit could cost as much as 3 minimum salary of an average worker.

About the MAU5-IV kit, I'm thinking if it will correctly fit in a 2x3 ft space, 4 plants maximum, SOG. Another consideration is: usually the temps here range between 22 ~ 30°C all year long, but its a stealth grow, so I'll put a 4'' inline extractor and filter. You guys think I could handle the temperature lower than 28°C?

ps: sorry about the crap english :P

Whats up guys,

I just joined rollitup today.. I've been in the shadows for a few years and this site has helped me out a ton! I have an account over on 420 mag too. Growmau I stumbled on your youtube videos today and watched like 3 hours of them. I am building a new room in a new location and you have caught my attention 100% with your DIY builds. I'm looking to build a 4 x 8 foot print and I am looking to get away from the (2) 1000w HID I was going to use. Until today I was not even considering building a light and now I don't think I can be talked out of it. I looked and looked and could not find a video on your set up for the 4 x 8. What do you recommend as my BEST option for this size footprint? I gotta say your videos have taught me a ton just today so I have to say thanks for all the info and wanted to pick your brain.

Peace,
Freezy

:leaf::leaf: WELCOME TO RIU :leaf::leaf:

8 x 4 = 32 x 25w/ft2 = 800w COBS minimum

1000w COBS would be better & would replace 2 x 1000w HID
