Cutting down top 1/2 of plant

The top 1/2 of my plants are ready to harvest, while the lower buds still are mostly white hairs-not ready. Is there any harm in cutting the top section/ready buds now (including the main), then waiting for the rest to be ready in a week or two?Will I stress/wreck the rest of the lower bud or will it mature fine now that it has more light with the top out of the way? Thanks for any help. bongsmilie

Chop away Marijauna21. You can harvest by the single bud if you want to. Some strains like Flo can give a much larger yield when multi harvested.

"Indoors the buds of the Short Flo are fully mature by the end of their sixth week. Outdoors the DJ Short Flo is a super producer when multi-harvested over a period of time. The cannabis seeds first buds are ripe around the third week of September. About every ten days after that, new buds form and can be harvested through the end of November, if the plant can be kept alive that long. Therefore DJ Short Flo is ideal for greenhouse production."

HObbes I don't know if that picture was chronological but I always knew it as when you chop her a bit early she has a more of a narco body high, as opposed to when you let her ripen then she'll lean towards the cerebal high.

Amber = body high / couch lock effect

Cloudy = cerebral headdie high
