Ya.. I am anal about ph/water pretty much daily if not semi-daily. I am running just big enough pots for my plants for lots of air intake as water drops so keeping it topped is hard, usually they are about 3-4 inches lower on a 2 gallon bucket line so almost half of reservoir at 25 some days most plants. If I run 3.5 gallons my roots never uptake too much to drop it noticeable, but the plants love the air the smaller buckets give them. Plus the air stones are blasting everybit of root mass with o2.I wish I was as careful about my water levels as you seem to be.
