Daily Grow Tips (with pics)

right on man, if you watering using half a gallon (2 litres) you want about a pint (500mil) run off,

have fun

so this is a good idea for a thread! many smart people in here!

-let the plant do the work.

-spider mites can be easily battled off with safer soap or neem oil if catch them soon. change your clothes before going in your room, try to keep the pooch outta there too!

-water in the morning or later evening. watering in the mid days hot heat can shock your plant.

-aerating your top soil works wonders during your veg stage. tearing around a few roots really isnt that bad as long as your not ripping the mass apart.

-peroxide is great for growth but also for keeping soil sterile. keeps away the mold and other creepy crawlers.

-if your outside YES!!! YOU WANT SLUGGO!!!! dont be shy, slugs and snails will go to town on your buddha.

-for smell i found this contraption. ive yet to build one but its tried and tested!

-dont fondle your buds

-even tho they are little plants, they will dry out fast in small pots.

- clip off lower branches for clones. they produce less bud and make great cuttings.

-spend time with your plants. sit with them, and enjoy, growing is half the fun.

here's a tip...

dont be lazy and dont expect the people helping you to do extra work for free. read the book, dont scan. a lot of grows fail because the gardener is a lazy fuck who cant be bothered to read.

now that I think of it, makes complete sense. the leaves are green, so they would reflect a lot of that color light and absorb others. maybe a good use for green led's?? I really wouldn't want to try this when flowering stage starts. to risky.

Ok heres one for ya. Apple juice at the 100% no sugar added can be used as a flush and growing nute, during flowering like molasses, but ive found better when used in conjunction with alternated waterings... Only for soil grow... Not rec. For hydro. Sugar bad for pumps... Db.~tlb!

Hey,db,...is that during flush too?....or just until?

lol simmer down boy!! as far as the jack, Email went crazy in here last night and it was great!!! There are a lot of non tlb that visit here and you are one of the cats here that have unique and original way of thinking. I just figured your take on things and the knowledge you have, you would be able to really add a lot on this one. and hey man no need to shout!

100% germination so far.

I have managed to germinate 20 out of 20 seeds so far.
I believe this is because I keep my seeds in the fridge and get them out a day before I wet them.
This makes them think the winter and passed and it is springtime,
I then put them in cotton wool 1st 14 with tap water last 6 included superthrive.
100% germination. I killed a few after but they all popped their seeds and sprouted.

b-mad,that tip makes sense...in one of my references,the breeder keeps his seeds in a freezer...good up to 4 years this way he says...think about this...hard sealed husk,with moisture inside.frozen....mught just crack the seed for ya...just a little...enough to ensure water penetration,and good germ rates....excellent tip b-mad,giving me these damn stoner thoughts
