So I lost my first batch all due to damping off so I ordered more seeds and the same exact thing happend, I only watered them once to germinate and that's it, I put them outside and boom this happens 2 hours later. And I used brand new soil and containers this time.1625170899332.png

Not damping off. Outside in the hot summer is no place for seedlings. You need to keep them 70 to 75 in milder light until they get bigger. When ready to put Outside put out for an hour or so in the shade. Slowly increase time and amount of sun over 2 to 3 week period. Also when you plant your seed put a very thin layer of cinnamon on top to prevent damping off

If you look at the bottom of the seedling though they are shriveled up only at the bottom. I thought that was only from fungus not the sun?

I found that cheapie white LED's give me rigid stalks on seedlings. Only popped two batches this way, but not one fell over..... A first for me. No fan either.

I’ve never started my seedling outside but unless your temps are under 60° damping off is unlikely as damping off is caused by fungi that dislike warmer temps. I recommend purchasing some daylight CFL or LED for girls until the first true leaves are nice and strong.

If I’m being honest it’s likely your girls died simply from being too leggy. . . That’s a whole lot of stretch you got going on there
Yeah they were super leggy and I was trying to fix it with a fan indoors, then I said f it and threw them outside for 2 hours, went surfing and came back they were done.
