Decarb or not decarb before butter?

Hi everyone,

my question is not what the title is.
I do believe you have to do the decarb before you start simmering the butter.

But, my question is and I can’t really find any info about this.
So when you decarbed the flowers, you cooked it for hours on low temperature (90c <- am I right on this one?)

then you decide to make something out of it which will include baking on very high degree.
So, would that baking process just decarb the butter anyway? Or it’s impossible?
Also if you decarbed before and then you bake with it, would the baking process degrade your butter because of the constant high degree?
Can someone explain me a little bit the process on “molecule” level?

thanks in advance

.

To decarb bud you need 240F - 260F for a half hour.

If you cook at too high a temperature you will boil off the cannabinoids.

The decarbonization machine I have heats it to *226F. Some places on the web say *220F some say *240F. Most say never go over *300F when making what ever your baking or gummies. I use coconut oil and add sunflower lecithin instead of butter.

I just made a batch of gummies where I decarbed 1 oz before infusing into 1 cup of coconut oil and the gummies came out weak. I normally just let the herb decarb while its cooking with the oil and my gummies come out alot more potent.

I decarb at 245 for 45 minute. Flower/ larf . I did some a couple weeks ago (245 for 30 minutes) and my butter came out weak. I usually weigh out one oz a time and that gives me 3 sticks after starting with four.
