Denser Nugs....

I need to know how i can get denser nugs ive had a few crops and they all end up airy.. i understand the first few times i did it with co2 but the times after that with co2 and no difference i was wondering if anyone could give me some help thanx....my strains are good no problem with them or anything just wantg them dense any comments would be awesome thx

Your temp and or humidity might be off. But I'm not sure how much those effect density, however, I have been told that they do.

Are you using CFL's? If so that may also be your problem.

You may also need to flower you plants longer and give them more time to fill in.

Yep. Assuming your environment is not out of whack in some way ( temp, Rh, nutes, water) it pretty much comes down to proper lighting and also genetics. Some strains like many of the hazes don't nug up too much compared to others.

yup come back and let use know what kinda lights your using as long as your using HID lights or enough T5s then we d have to look else where for issues. Did you keep your co2 levels bewteen 1200-1500 ppm during lights on with temps 80-85 F to get the benfits of co2 when using it? Did you use any flower hardeners like humboldt counties gravity? what nutes and how many weeks flower?

lets im using an aeroflo20 system i have a 600 and a 400w hid...i know i have enough light it cant be it.. my temps are a little cooler more like 72.... i dont think its the nutes cause ive tried diff kinds and really no change besides in the amount of trichs im getting.. the co2 i dont have a meter so that could be it. but what does that humboldt counties gravity???? ill post some pics later to show my setup but im so confused ahhhhhhhhhh

HPS and MH are both kinds of HID lights.

A friend of mine recommended Dr nodes. it tightens your buds up and keeps your plants more compact. the stuff works great. its a bit pricey, about 130CAD a bottle, but its worth it IMHO

no worries! usually its the light that makes fluffy budds.but thats not the case.if your nutes are tight and ph ,it might be the stran.

im not sure, but i read quite a few places that adding molasses to ur plants makes the buds swell.

im using superior grow nuts...a friend of a friend has produced the best shit ive ever seen...

used molasses before doesnt do shit...it could be the stran but i have 3 diff kinds and all the same.....its pissing me off.

i have one strain that produces huge buds the biggest was the size of a 20oz bottle but it was still airy and fluffy it was good im not complaining of what im getting i just want them denser just wanna perfect it...i love weed

could it be from the dry/cure process... im having same issue with one of my plants i harvested.

Usually it is a light issue, now sounds like the watts are good, but how old are the bulbs? If the bulbs are old, the buds will start to get more fluffy! Might be as simple as new bulbs!

i also have the same problem, what are your temps, high temps dramaticaly affect your buds making them light and airy.

How are your bulbs??? Do you need to replace them? They should be changed every 6-8 months or so.
