Depression/Back Pain...strain?

Well, I have scoliosis so most of the pain is lower back pain and in my right shoulder area where my spine curves. The depression I honestly think is just seasonal, yet it seems to hit me harder than most so the anti-depression would be nice, although I should be tripping shrooms again soon which will help me think about things.

Thanks you guys for the help and right now I think my strains of choice would have to be between Kali Mist, Belladonna, Big Laughing, Big Buddha's Cheese, Fruity Thai and Grandaddy Grape Ape. Wow, there are so many appealing strains... I wish I just could devote a whole house to this shit.

I just grew out a White Russian from Serious and it is amazing for pain. I get lower l4 l5 s1 pains and also t12 pains real bad and white russian just numbs it. If I smoke too much and too often it does make me sleepy after a bit and then I just chase it with a sativa or upbeat hybrid.

Lots of great information here. How did this get buried so deep?

There were no set strains when it came to depression, it was just the anture of being high and thinking about things from alternative perspectives, never knew what i'd bought but it always did what it needed to do.

I recently grew Caramelo from Delicious seeds and it reminded me of percocet, but milder of course. Makes you feel good physically but leaves your mind reasonably intact, and tastes great, too. It's half Lavender (sativa) and half unknown Indica. Friends rave about it. Medium yield of dense purple buds. I give it 2 thumbs up for pain, with a typical 50/50 head.
