diffrence between 5,500k n 6,500k

ok well i am using lights that are 5,500k 27watts(daylight)..i know ur suppose 2 use 6,500k but i am doing fine so far...does ne1 relle acutally know if this matters any? also which is better for flowering 2,700k softwhite or brightwhte?..ty in advance

The distinction is between the 6500 end of the spectrum and the 2700 end. 5500 is fine for veg just like 3000 is fine for flower. 6500 and 2700 are just standards most commonly offered as daylight or soft white. Some growers like bulbs in the 4100 - 5100 range and use them for veg and flower.
