critical is one of the older strains out there, it was made from big bud and skunk , it is cross of about 15 different genetics so there are 100's of varieties.

i grew a few different phenos and none of them looked like yours. here is my favourite one.

it was very sweet in flavour and a pretty good daytime smoke. it didn't yield like i thought it should have but the bigger yielding phenos i had didn't taste so nice.

what does yours smell like?

Looks nice GHB.

Mine smells very old Skool skunk with a slight citrus undertone.

(Yes I was rubbing some buds last night lol)

But as we all know flavour can change alot during the cure.

the difference between cured and uncured buds is huge, lots of people near me don't flush or even dry properly never mind cure their weed. i hate having to go and pay top dollar for shit stuff, i wish there was an easy and safe way for us riuers to share genetics and products. say, you don't have that bit of power kush still hanging around do you........................lol

Lol no to the power KUSH but the genetics of that DINAFEM are pretty stable.

To be honest GHB I haven't flushed a crop for near on 2 years.

I use coco with CANNA AQUA VEGA nutes and just back off the EC towards the end. Cutting from 1.2-1.5 down to around 0.9.

Flushing is a big debate and don't want to start another here but IMO it does nothing more than stress the rhizosphere by dropping its EC down too rapidly which in turn can cause reverse osmosis to happen to the roots. Whereby they stop up taking ionic forms of nutes and start to excrete water from the tissues etc.

18litres of water received.
9ml Rhizotonic
45ml CANNAZYM
25ml VEGA A
25ml VEGA B

EC 0.9.
PH unchecked as yet. Will be pH'ing before watering.

See you back here in an hour or so.J
i know this is just one feed but do you use anything else?

do you regularly use the monos or are they more of a just incase? i used to have a mono n that worked great on plants that started to yellow, i rarely use the zym but i will on my next grow as i will be replanting straight back into the coco once harvested.

rhizotonic is my fav supplement, it quadruples the root growth time and keeps them brilliant white. do you pk spike in the 2/3rd week then leave it?

The PK spike isn't really a spike per se.

I tend to use it based on the plants reactions.

When the colas turn from pistils to actual buds is when I use it.

I do tend to use the monos more these days.

The FCJ has some calcium spotting at the min but there's no point correcting it now being so close to chop.

Its a fine balancing act trying to find the right amount every feed so I tend to mix up a batch of 18Litres of water with nothing but Ca and Mg up to whatever EC I'm feeding at that time. Tend to do that every 3rd-4th feeding.

I find that easier than finding the right amount to mix in with the base nute.

FCJ is Ca and Mg hungry. So its been hard finding that sweet spot for them.

The critical has been fine with the levels.

Picture update. Day59 of 12/12.

Current EC in is 0.9.
EC out on everything is 1.0.

I'm going to be feeding again tomorrow but I'm backing off again to 0.6EC Just simply because the EC is coming out 0.1EC higher and I want it to be coming out lower than it went in. So harvest day for the critical may just have been pushed back to Sunday.

The way the FCJ is progressing it too could be getting chopped on Sunday.

All clones are very nearly ready too.

This entire run looks great!!! I love the definition of the critical +. The FJC is intriguing. I'm looking forward to the report after Sunday.

Thanks very much.

Harvest day may get pushed back further though depending upon whether I see any amber trich's or not.

If I see some amber on Saturday on all plants then ill be chopping on Sunday. But if I don't see any amber ill be waiting until I do.
