Just wanted to alert anyone growing Dina-fem Durban Poison of a stability issues to hermaphrodite.
I love Dina-fem there one of my favorite seed-banks. I've grown Durban poison before with great success, but it seems the batch of seeds I've got are very unstable.
All of my environmental variables are spot on, which leads me to think the hermaphroditic issues are genetic.
I've done some research on the strain. from what I've read its unstable to begin with.
Beautiful plant to grow. Really bummed there only @ 3 weeks from finish.
You can check out the Durban Poison grow in my journal.

only 3 weeks...you should have finished... would not have hurt a thing and probably wouldn't make seeds either...wow

Can a plant even go full blown hermie that far into flowering? Is it just a nanner? Think you might be jumping the gun a bit. I could be wrong. happy growing.

It started to hermaphrodite way before 3 weeks from finish. The pollen sac's were hidden in the flower clusters.
The pollen sac's became visible around 3 weeks from finish.
It finished at 8wks. I got a few seeds from it.
The smoke wasn't worth smoking.
I made hash oil out of it. So it wasn't a total waste.

I just find it hard to believe that seeds somehow make weed worthless. Some of the very best weed I've ever smoked had prolly a hundred seeds in a zip.

Just cause it pollinated potency should not suffer. In all probability. The seeded will be more potent just a bit of product loss due the seed mass not containing psychoactives. however the sheathed and calyxes resin glands were superproductive kue to embryo presence and this greatly manipulates the ratios of cannabinoids terpenes and flavinoids content greatly in favor of psychoactivity.

It's why the breeders use the seeded weed and sell non seeded. They get to smoke the best for free. Welcome to the game

I seeded two branches of my widow. After de-seeding it was still really good and I got 200 seeds :)

a little pollen goes a long way.
