Were you aware Obama (USA) were not the only ones to sign on in to this deal? If we did not sign on to this deal you think the rest of our coalition partner nations would've continue the sanctions? I think not.

I guess 35+ years of sanctions werent enough, maybe we should've tried 60 because Lord knows the 50 we imposed on Cuba werent enough.

Give Peace a chance, stop being a chicken-shit-hawk its easy to send others to do your dirty work for you.

Trust me many are relieved that Iran cant hurt them with a nuclear strike for the next 30, 60 days or the next 10 years for that matter. As long as we're 'talking', anything can happen, but I do guarantee you that if we werent talking, Iran would've gotten the 'bomb'. Thats a fact. Now square that circle for me, will you.

Also Reagan and his transition team had nothing to do with the Iranian Hostage Crisis. There was absolutely zero contact. It's a well known urban legend that the Iranians were "scared" of Reagan, in all actuality the Iranians had very little idea who Reagan was, and didn't really care at all about him. The Algiers Accord were signed January 19th, 1981 (Inauguration Day is January 20th). Before Reagan even showed up to the Inauguration, Carter phoned him to inform him that the hostages were being boarded onto a plane and departing from Tehran on their way back to the US. The Carter Administration and Abolhassan Banisadr had actually hammered out the deal before the 1980 election. Khomeini and some of the other Iranian leaders though hated Carter because of his support for Israel, US support of Iraq, Operation Eagle Claw, Operation Credible Sport, we also let the Shah come to the US to receive medical treatment rather than hand him over to Khomeini, and the threat of US military action to free the hostages. Ronald Reagan had nothing to do with the Iranian hostage crisis, it's an urban legend.
