With organics what exactly are you flushing out? Flushing works with bottled nutes by removing the excess from your soiless growing material. With organics there are no salts it uses bacteria and fungi to break down the organic matter and make it available to the plant. All you are flushing out is the bacteria you need in the soil to have food readily available to the plant. That's why you top dress and mix it in when it's organics because it takes time to break down and become available you shouldn't even have to water to runoff with organic soil because there is nothing you want to remove from the growing medium and wouldn't be able to anyways as it's not water Soluble or you'd mix it with water like bottled nutrients.
