Been trying to make hash at home (no experience) first attempt, the kief mostly turned into blackish powder. Need a coach.

I did watch a couple videos. I followed the hot bottle method with not much result and then switched to adding moisture to the pack and putting it in the oven (300F) and pin rolling it, did it 3 times while adding moisture. I used Parchment paper for this. Anyway, i think my Kief was polluted with smaller flower bits, not sure if it makes it difficult.

Just added some water to the parchment paper (no contact to the stuff but i think parchment paper contributed to the dryness)

I would suggest a chunk of dry ice, a 90 and a 120 micron filter bug"for bubble hash(5 gallon size"),a large glass bowl and a few mason jars"Qt. size at most". Freeze cured bud. Sift through the bags with crushed dry ice. Start with the 90 micron. Empty bowl into jar and repeat with the 120. Easy and about $20 tops to do here. Providing your grow of course. Peace.

It's a process that's for sure. I've tried all kinds of shit..the rolling the bottle.. bought a mold and heat press.... settled on this method..and I welcome all criticism because that's how I learn... anyway....I try to find a local who harvesting and get a deal on product...I usually get 2z. I use a coffee grinder to grind 1/4 at a time....got a aluminum sifter that I throw the grind into...with three coins into the freezer...half hour or so...I repeat this process for the entire 2z...in the two times I've done it this way I've netted 14 grams of keif. And I tested the bud before I ground it up... pretty good...ok from here I have a pollen press that I press half grams on each side...use parchment paper...trust me...here's the trick...I do the tightening...then instead of using the heat press I use my wife's blow dryer on high heat for about 45 seconds (gotta play with this - you can actually melt the keif)...let it cool...cause you can't touch ..if you can...you did it wrong....pop them babies out of there and tell me what you think??

Why not just add a few ounces of oak leaves; that'll give you a lot more bang for your buck.

I'd much rather smoke hash and make temple balls to age rather than have a pile of weed I'd prob not do anything with anyways. They make great gifts!
Anyone knocking concentrates hasn't tried em. Weed can be boring sometimes. It's fun to make a bunch of stuff outta it. Keeps it fun
