I got poked in the eye by a piece of canna leaf (shire) this morning while working in the canopy. That is nothing unusual for me but somehow the tip broke off and got stuck under my eyelid. Irrigated it dozens of times but would not come out. It was in there for 6 hours so I used a camera to try and see under the lid and spotted it. Eventually got it out with a wet qtip. Hazards of the job! Ironic considering the Tool art...

I hate it when I'm harvesting and get crystals in my eye. Damn that burns.

Cool camera trick. The latest thing for infants. A selfie cam. :) They are born with a camera.

Figured I'd bump this thread with what's new over here. Replaced my 120-160w SGS with dimmable 43-91w of 5000k AD cxa3070s, 3 for the area (~2x3') @700mA running on a hlg-80h-c700a

And replaced my 30ws of t5s in the clone chamber with 15ws of xml2s (6 total) that have on a potentiometer (let's me dim all the way to the point they turn off) running off a mw lpf-16d-20
Both are passively cooled, sucks because my first DIY (my 12/12 panel, was so much more in depth! Looking back there are so many things I could have done to clean it up, might have to REDIY my diy, but it also had a lot more going into it.

Nice and passive. But, I really don't get the point of leaving a few inches off the middle of the sink, cutting it into 2 peices and having to attach rails. Well, maybe you are re-cycling.

I will be using the sink as the rail. The cost of the rails and the hassle of mounting them far out way the cost of a few more inches of heat sink, in my mind.

But, it looks really good. Is that 66c on your meter?

Also kingbright has been in contact the last couple days he has the top bins of the cxa3070 3000k and 3500k, and the top bin cxb3590 3000k and 4000k.

I asked him to try and get ahold of x10 cxb3590 90CRI 3000k BD bins and I would take them off his hands. He said he's gonna try and get a sample for me so fingers crossed.

Your talking about the clone light? Recycling exactly. Old progrow heatsinks I initially cut to make my own "pontoons" of 660 and 730 for my SGS, took off the old emitters and had the extra xml2s lying around. Connected the sinks with metal clips. And tada. All I had to order was the driver, and even then I have cheap Chinese ones lying around I could have used. Also the separate sinks let me adjust the distance between the emitters if I end up taking a shit ton of cuttings and break out the second cloner.

Yep that measurement is on the veg light (cxas)

I am taken off the piss rounds that day of the meeting- so 43 days till that, but dont want to chance it even though i asked and he said there wont be any last day testing of papers, and today is 60 days till its alllllll said and done. WOOP!

Not many if you want them I'd get Em now I'm sure he's gonna get more with the demand but didn't say so.

1 of the 4000

I went ahead and edited the OP once I realized you put C. Wouldn't I start shitting bricks if it were in celcius?

My radiator puts out ~500umol at about 16" give or take. Thought about playing with the stella lenses I have on hand but didn't care to, the falloff reading at the edge of the area is above 250 unless I get within 6" of the panel, then it is 150.
