Do I need more lights?

If you are trying to be thrifty with the fixtures and cover the space optimally id just grab 2x 1000w or 3x 600w hps lights.

Midrange would be 2/3x 630w cmh lights

Higher end stuff would be the decent led setups. They do provide a much greater efficiency and save money after about two years of running 12/12. But much greater starting cost. You'll want about 1200-1600 watts of samsung lm561c or newer diodes.

alot of good advice on here.yes 6 315's do produce alot of heat but at -20 i'm still using a heater
that and the ventilation takes care of it .just buy what you can afford for now and upgrade as you go .
whatever you choose still possible to grow great weed. people have been doing it with hps for a long time with great success.

Thanks for the info! For high end LED would Kind LED be up there? I've been looking at those more specifically the Kind XL 1000W. Possible 2-3.

I mean samsung lm561c or newer diodes. Or even newer cob lighting. Specifically I'd look into horticulture lighting group and their kits. They are decently priced and deliver what they say they will. I wouldn't recommend a kind light to any of my friends.

They are that bad huh? Hah. Thanks you just saved me a BUNCH of money. I've defiantly been looking around a lot more in the past few days.

I see a lot of white lights but they say 'full spectrum'. I thought full spec was more blues an reds to help veg and flower? If I got something that said full spectrum but was mainly white light would I need to incorporate red/blue as well?

Depends on how you want to fill your tent , I’d probably go for 2 4x4 , this will let you keep your plants away from the walls , for when they suck in under negative pressure. If you want to max it out 5x5 will give better par to the edges ,

Or one 5x5 cob setup with a mars on each side, till you can upgrade the mars’

I'd get two and run two 4x4 trays. The reflection fron the walls into the side canopy is very beneficial. As well as having space for a couple fans ect.

If you ended up adding a third down the road you would smash the space, but it isn't really necessary with samsung 301b diodes. They just are that efficient.

All this info is amazing I can't think you enough to everyone that has posted on here! If I went with two 4x4 light fixures which one I see there are two? One looks like it is customizable (the CXB3590) and the other not (the chilled one) there is also a $100 difference between the two. Also in info on the 'chilled' one it does not mention anything as far as full spec or just veg or bloom while the CXB says it can be used for both which I assume makes it a full spec light.
