Do police use motion sensing cameras?

Some do. That's how an aquaintance of mine in Va. got busted several years ago. When the cops nabbed him, he tried to play it off like he was looking for his dog. Then they showed him several weekends' worth of video of him watering his plants. There wasn't much he could say then. He did not pass Go. He did not collect $200. But he did got jail.
you can set up your own motion sensing cameras too. beat them at their own game! you might lose your crop, but at least you can avoid jail. I set one up 2 weeks ago and checked it this weekend past. it uploaded over 50 pics on the SD card. most of em wildlife, the rest were prolly from bushes blowing in the wind. for the most part, I'm impressed with the results. at a 100 bucks a pop, I'll be purchasing more of these cameras when the money allows.

I had the same question suci. Did you go to check on your plants and find one of them cut down or something.
hey joebuck, I bought the bushnell trail sentry model. cheapest of the cheap. I had it slightly modified tho. I removed the motion detector, camera eye, and mounted them into a piece of driftwood. I also removed the flash and soldered in an IR led flash I got from a friends broken vid cam. I soldered a 40ft extension using some telephone wire I had lying around from my driftwood cam into the original sentry box which holds the batteries and SD card. this way I can check the SD cards from a distance before entering my plot. sorry but I have no pics of my setup. my next visit I'll do that tho
