I cut a hole in the wall at our first place. Bought a cheapo Sears unit. They are like window units but wider so that they can fit through a wall.

It made the whole house cold! Best decision I ever made. I was only mad at myself for not doing it sooner!

yea, I need an ac for my garage to, luckily I have windows in it, so just gonna get a nice 240 window ac
Lucky you I wish I had windows in it. I would've got an old cheap window ac in a heartbeat to cool it down.

You cut a hole in wall to vent put the warm air for the ac? Man I'm thinking of doing the same but I don't have a clue as to where I may do it or what lol. I've been looking all round the garage and everything just thinking of what I could do to get this heat vented out somehow but can't think of anything.

Also you can either run a window wall style AC or you can run a Mini-Split style so you drill 2 one inch holes and no venting just cooling. Perfect for Co2. Find where your electric runs and you can defently put a window/wall unit in you want. They are certainly cheaper.

@Papa, I have one thing to say about your view:
I'm jealous!!!!.

I look out my window and see a hospital and a cemetery
my next two stops!

:peace:
Yeah you need a better view my friend. Your view is to much of what is to come.
Papa it was 94F here today and cant keep my house under 76 so in a couple hrs I am switching my lights to 8 on so I can give it another 4 hrs to cool off before lights on. it turns out my 20 amp circuit runs both my ac's and fans which pops a circuit every hr or so so I turned of 1 of my exhaust fans in my room it is a 650 cfrm which can suck a golf ball through a garden hose I bet. the extra 4 hrs will make a huge diff so I can sleep at night. I am about done flowering anyway 8 weeks 2 days and I want 3 more days of 8hrs light on and then boil and chop.

It's a funny thing, I've lived here for 50 years it never occurred to me, the fatalistic
view I have out my front window.
I like the view in the basement better.

Doc, what about a portable AC that can vent out a dryer type exhaust
or window but all you have is a hose to run?
I've seen them up to 12,500 btu.

Yea but are much more and am working with what I can come up with. Harvest is coming up and that will help but I want to get another room set up to. I will look now and see what I can find. It will only have to cool 2 k at any one time.
