They grow great, even when the power goes out and temps drop at 60 they don’t even wilt. I had mine storm out and they were still praying to lights off for two days. Next time I’m probably gonna grow mine up like yours and then lst right before flower. It’s to much maintenance mainelining without a top.

The colas are nice and I got a whole bunch of buds but I feel like they were meant to make one single massive cola with popcorns beside it coming off the edges. Do you have pics of your buds finished using Scrog method or is it still preflower. I just wanted to do a compare on growing methods. Here is my two plants at week 10 mainlined with no topping and minor defoliation. If yours aren’t finished when they do show pics of them grew straight up like you have them. And out of curiosity are them yellow hooks in your tent used to hold the ladies up when there taller or is that for a net.
fast buds been good to me. Give em a good environment and they grow just fine.

Search for my strawberry pie journal. The hooks hold the buds up. I did a double net on my last grow. This grow is not done. Still stretching

The hooks with ratchets is genius my man. I usually tie two ropes all the way across and wire between buds to it but I like your idea and I might try that out.

I got them on Amazon and at the hydro store. They work fine just need a lot of them if you got a good crop going.20210418_201731.jpg

Imma have to look into them. In case people are wondering about the myth of autos not being clonable I debunked it. Right at preflower I cut a bud site on accident and decided to try and save it. I put it in a quart pot added some clonex and popped a clear solo over it. The end results is if you cut and clone off an auto at early veg and as soon as preflower starts , they’ll root up and bud out just like the parent. Same time and everything. Check out this little guy its flowered from the bottom up. And it’s gonna look like a baby x mad tree when he’s finished.

Here’s a good question though. I starting three blue dreams and three Girl Scout cookie autos and want to do a closet grow on a single seed. Should I do critical mass cbd, kush and cookies cbd, or super skunk auto. I started them to veg and take over the grandmommy purples spot when she finishes in five weeks. She smells terrific and everybody should grow her 33 percent thc ass. I’m week three of flower and she’s already covered in tricomes and orange hairs.

In case anybody wants to see what the bud structure looks like when u grow a 90 degree plant without topping, here’s a great angle I took while I repositioned her branches. Instead of topping her off I bent her 90 degrees and Mainlined her with no top. I got to keep the main cola with achieving side branching. The only part that is laboring is I have to get a wire and hold up the branch to let the roots settle down and not pull out. It’s not really given her any stress and grows really fast. Grandmommy purple is the one to grow. My buddy made a tiki light and the bulb works . He just keeps it topped and never flips her.

Still don’t know how these finish in like 75-85 days or whatever. I’m “half way” there and can’t see how it’ll stack much that quickly

It stacks real quick . The pistols reach faster than the plant grows that’s why the flowers look so clustered. I mainlined my gelatos without topping and they swelled out like pop cans. Mine called for 72 days and it took 93 days

They bud very fast like fastbud says, but they seem to finish when they want. I had mine ready to cut and when I woke up there were more pistols reaching out . Bout every three days they’ll swell some and boost when u flush.

I know this might sound crazy. But have you ever tried growing your plant in a 90° angle without topping. When you do that you don’t have to cut your top main cola and you still get the same affect as topping. your branches grow across each other as if they were topped at every node. It turns every branch into Bud site and easy to maintenance. I tried it with my last two Auto flower runs and It doubled my yeild with only minor defoliation at week 3 and 6 of flower because the center was open access for the lower branches which I didn’t have to cut as suckers. They just budded out with the rest
