Opiates have their place in medicine/pain relief, but doing that shit for recreational is how dope heads start. I have a few friend OD and a few more that have fuck their lives off. So I avoid opiates like republicans avoid ebola.

I don't think anyone would disagree with you that opiates can produce some of the longest lasting sex sessions a man can have but as addiction continues the desire for sex tends to take a back seat for the majority of addicts. For me personally it's become more of a take it or leave it sorta thing nowadays. I still think about it but nowhere near the amount a "regular" 20 something guy would. Same goes for genital arousal (i.e. erections). An I don't believe "water weight" would necessarily make you appear necessarily out of shape. It might slightly stretch the skin out and reduce the notability of fine lines and wrinkles. Could be wrong on that assumption though. This study says that estrogen and progesterone suppress physiological responses to the administration of opiate peptide, http://press.endocrine.org/doi/abs/10.1210/endo-126-2-804?journalCode=endo. So perhaps prolonged exposure to exogenous opiates causes the brain to produce higher amounts of estrogen/progesterone to maintain neurological equilibrium resulting in the aforementioned potential side-effects. I'm not a neurologist/endocrinologist so I could be misinterpreting the info. though.

I guess I have no comparison as my opiate years were from 16-25 or so...
Haven't touched it in years..but I'm betting same effect..who knows,I may be a flaccid sexual nihilist if I took opiates at my age now:-)

If you haven't gone cold turkey on heroin shut the fuck up you have no idea It is a good thing to do though cause you will never do enough to get addicted again some do but I fucking hate junkies even when I was one.

its the unhealthy life style that kills the herion addicts.

i know a bunch of people who fucking eat one slice of toast and a coffee per day, injection of herion and look like ghosts!!......they don't last long :(


i used to wash a guys car for money for a fix and the guy was a family working man with a nice house etc etc in a nice nieboirhood and good family and i found out by his ghostly looking nephew that he was a full blown addict and has been for 40 years ( he is 60 ) ........ Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth if you were to look at him .



he injects everyday first thing in the bathroom then goes eats breakfast with his family....... Continues with his healthy life stlye like he has for the past 40 years .



strange but true ............. Its the inside of his body which may look alittle fucked or not ??? Idk
