The seeds don't ROB from the plant ... the plant has one purpose, and that is to feed those seeds.
The plant shouldn't be worrying about producing further flowers, just focussing on maturing the seeds.
Just keep it fed and it will do its job - you may as well put it into 18/6 light as it will not forsake the seed production for anything else.

A balanced diet is best for seeds. Really not a great idea to starve it of nitrogen. A lot of people mix bloom/grow ferts for seed production.
