Doing a light deprevation grow outdoors...Cover greenhouse at dusk or dawn?

What way is the right way to cover greenhouse with black tarp. Bright and early or late in the day, k k thanks cool cya

From tree man I think it was. Cover the last few hours before sunset and uncover after dark. That way you don't trap the humidity and you can sleep in. Lol

I was gonna a quote treeman to..he said if u cover just before dark u can then take the cover off when its dark so they can breathe overnight properly

Bump the veg period with artificial light during dark hours and then you won't need deprivation. My plants flower mid summer in 15 hour days exposed to light pollution all night. 15 lux or less ought to be fine.

Dude , what ? What's the point then ? You don't light Depp and extend the vegg period.

Tws is correct kind sir..he wants to light dep so he gets flowers not add artificial light so they veg LONGER

i understand the ease on the grower covering in the evening and then taking off so you can sleep late...
personally i would cover at sunrise instead...but as yiu can see im awake anyway, and imo the light spectrum would be better for the grow getting the red evening sun before lights out

I built a light deprivation chamber, but found it unnecessary because my plants would flower in what I assumed was too much light. I just set them outside, check the lux to be as close to zero as possible, but I've had plants flower in 10+ lux before.

Your putting way to much into this imho.True you don't have to cover but some want to be safe as far as reversal goes. As long as you light dep or flower and are done before may, mid may at the latest you can normally get by with out covering . The lux thing is just way to deep man.

Light dep time covering at night and uncovering at dark, recover in the AM to avoid high humidity. Or add ventilation, and leave covered til your up. Love light dep

1 of my greenhouses I light dep starting early July and harvest early September, giving me one harvest about a month earlier than the rest of my plants. I have the tarp on by 5 o'clock and back off about 5 1/2 hours later, 10:30 at night. The 4 or 5 weeks of lost veg time makes for much smaller yield than the other greenhouses. The light dep greenhouse gave me about 2 lbs per plant but the plants that went the hole summer gave me more than 5 lbs per plant. The plants that went early were top quality.
