especially the message board 4chan
This blew my mind. I've known of 4chan for ages, it was an old Japanese site that people used to post the most outrages shit in Japan. I never posted there but it was well known as the sewer of the internet in Japan. People would talk about their rape fantasies, pedophilia and all sorts of kinks as well as your typical suicide pacts and bomb making bs. Only recently did I learn that the guy who they think is "Q" was some ex-pat who was hired by the legal owner of 4chan and ended up basically stealing the site from him. Apparently nobody is really sympathetic when you say, "Somebody stole my pedo site." Well anyway, the ex-pat 100% profited off of pedophilia. Some asshole who started Q blaming democrats for pedophilia. I tried to point that out to a Q believer, like, the dude you believe is fighting the "cabal" is a well known pedophilia profiteer, but he didn't care. Reality sucks for them.

Dominion Voting Systems is a Canadian company and the name makes more sense if you knew that Canada’s official name is “The Dominion of Canada”.

I honestly don’t know why the word dominion is troublesome and how a software company named “Dominion” could lend to conspiracy theories.
Considering we don't use voting machines here, it is kinda an odd start up. In Canada we don't elect dog catchers, judges, prosecutors and other offices, but have simple paper ballots with simple choices and millions of golf pencils. No need for voting machines with multiple offices and dozens of choices on the ballot.

The TD Bank and investments is popular in the states Toronto DOMINION! Donald wanted a dominion and had lots of minions and still does, so that might have something to do with the aversion, other than the royal connotations

Yep, Joe has made politics boring again, sensible government always is, if someone sane and competent is driving, you can let go clutching the dash board and enjoy the scenery! Though there are many problems and crises, they are being expertly managed now and increasingly so into the future. Donald's impeachment, the implosion of the republican party and the aftermath of the capital sacking seems to be the only real excitement currently. There's the vaccine roll out, the pandemic relief and recovery bill and a host of other things that will directly benefit Americans coming soon. All of the trouble seems to be inside the GOP at this point, sure it spills over, but is increasingly becoming internal and appears to be splitting the party apart.

Lot's of things are coming in policy and law, but the white knuckle struggle for survival is over for a time, but not the larger war. The democrats must exploit their advantages, in the legal system and the electoral system, they must also deal effectively with the domestic disinformation system and use their covid and election coverage and content to get rid of them. Large segments of the American population are bigoted and racist to the point where it pathologically skews their perception and judgement. This propensity must be mitigated using hate speech laws, media regulation and education as social and economic stress are reduced as much as possible.

The focus must be on 2022, making gains in the house and senate, destroying the republicans and isolating their radical elements. The corporate and big donor money is cut off for the Trumper republicans and the establishment republicans know this. I think the republican party will split along regional lines, but 80% of them will be in the Trump camp and soon starved for cash, as the heat mounts on their donors and the new election laws (HR-1) get rid of dark money. The republican long game doesn't look good, but they cannot be allowed to gain power even once, the democrats must win more in 2022 and 2024.

Maddow: Republican Disarray Runs Deeper Than Mere Politics

Rachel Maddow looks at how the Republican Party isn't merely dealing with a political course correction after losing an election, but rather, a existential turmoil that will determine whether it can continue to function in a way that sustains a democracy with only two major parties.

God I really hate that woman. I hate Don Lemon more. But it's shameful that anything that has "news" in their name would give air time to these people who are opinion pieces about news. Fck them on both sides of the aisle. Sorry, but why would you link that or watch it? Tired of making up your own mind on issues? How about this, lets just have South Park animate it and have them throw in some fart jokes. For real, everything about that video and the way she talks pisses me off. I mean I agree with her 100%, but that's besides the point.

Somebody clue me in to what happened to CNN please. I used to watch it a lot, up to maybe 99, to catch American news. I watched CNN international which may be a little different, but it was nothing like it is now. Everything was news other than Larry King. Now I see people like Don Lemon and Maddow and it's totally crap. I can't watch it to be honest. Very confusing. I remember Anderson Copper was like becoming a respected journalist and then I look right, I look left and Boom, He's one shade lighter than Maddow there. Was this a reaction to Fox News? Beat them at their own game? Anybody who gets their news from fox or cnn scares me to be honest. Maybe it's just me, but that condescending way they speak to the viewer just pisses me off, regardless if I agree. Man, it used to be a big deal if they showed any emotion. I feel old.

The bias is obvious and so, agree. CNN doesn't stand for news. Neither does the "Fox News". There are other sources. Get a grip and move on. PBS is pretty good as well as NPR. While I laugh at the ego-centric attitude in your post, I also agree that CNN is not a dependable news outlet.

Opinion is cheaper and less legally risky than news. It also sells better. Can't blame CNN for looking at Fox and saying "that ain't workin'". Money for nothing and chicks for free.

Sure I can blame them, they got NEWs in the name.
Have at it. Personally, I'm more irritated by "food" being used to describe the fast food industry. Maybe I'll take a hint from you and write a long self absorbed complaint about it. It will be really interesting.

here's a thought: dominion voting systems bad, ivanka trump voting machines good. what republican led states will be switching over soon? each ivanka machine comes with a dedicated russian hacker to change votes.

That actually sounds like something their think tanks would come up with. Can't vote for the mega/patriot party if you don't got the Ivanka Slut...whoops I mean slot.

I don't have any reason to watch CNN so I really don't know if it is that they are bias, or that it is impossible to actually report on the Republicans and not come off as bias.

And as for Maddow, she's MSNBC, and I would argue that she actually does a decent job keeping her rhetoric in check about the crimes that have been going on the last few years. There is only so much you can do to not let emotions seep through when dealing when talking about things like our mentally abusing small children for years.

Or deporting retired vets. Or banning trans people form serving in the military. On and on.
