When they finally admit to sea level rise, most of Florida's coastal cities will be unable to be insured, Miami has water on some streets from high tides already.

Oh, is this going to put a bee in his bonnet.

Obama called Trump a 'madman,' and 'racist, sexist pig': book
Former President Obama lashed out at his successor at private fundraisers and events throughout both the 2016 campaign and former President Trump's term in office, according to excerpts from a new book shared with The Guardian.

The reported cutting remarks from Obama are detailed in Atlantic staff writer Edward Isaac-Dovere's forthcoming book entitled "Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns to Defeat Donald Trump."

According to the author, Obama tore into Trump numerous times when speaking to advisors and donors at various events.

The former president frequently slammed his successor over numerous issues, including telling donors that Trump was a "madman" after 2017 when he took office.

"I didn’t think we’d have a racist, sexist pig," Obama told one group. He also referred to Trump as "that f----g lunatic" and a "corrupt motherf---er," according to Dovere.

“What he has unleashed and what he continues to try to tap into is the fears and anger and resentment of people who, in some cases, really are having a tough time and have seen their prospects, or communities where they left, declining. And Trump tries to tap into that and redirect in nativist, racist, sexist ways,” Obama reportedly said in July of 2020.

Trump lashes out at prosecutors over criminal probe into company
In a lengthy statement airing a list of grievances against Democrats in both Washington, D.C., and New York, Trump dismissed the criminal probe as a politically motivated effort to attack him.

"I have built a great company, employed thousands of people, and all I do is get unfairly attacked and abused by a corrupt political system. It would be so wonderful if the effort used against President Donald J. Trump, who lowered taxes and regulations, rebuilt our military, took care of our Veterans, created Space Force, fixed our border, produced our vaccine in record-setting time (years ahead of what was anticipated), and made our Country great and respected again, and so much more, would be focused on the ever more dangerous sidewalks and streets of New York," Trump wrote in the statement.

Both investigations stemmed at least in part from congressional testimony by Michael Cohen, Trump's former personal attorney and ally who has turned on his former boss since pleading guilty in 2018 to various fraud and campaign finance charges. Cohen is currently serving a three-year prison sentence.

In his statement on Wednesday, Trump referred to Cohen as a "low life" and said both James and Vance have been using their prosecutorial powers to harass him for political reasons.

"That is what these investigations are all about—a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of the United States," Trump said. "Working in conjunction with Washington, these Democrats want to silence and cancel millions of voters because they don’t want 'Trump' to run again. As people are being killed on the sidewalks of New York at an unprecedented rate, as drugs and crime of all kinds are flowing through New York City at record levels, with absolutely nothing being done about it, all they care about is taking down Trump."

there it is..'Stop The Steal' has lost it's charm- everyone's bored and no one will take his call- time to float the new narrative^^^^^^ for 2022..it's a little sloppy but he'll dial it in..see what he did? it went from 'stealing your vote to cancelling you'..it's one thing to take something from someone but to dismiss you as though you don't exist? that will infuriate Trumpers to no end..he knows how to cause trouble with them.

And trump is still free. FFS.
The feds are gonna let NY put him behind bars and then prosecute his ass for insurrection using Rudy among others. NY will put him away for the rest of his life anyway and conditions in a NY state maximum security prison are not good at all compared to a federal maximum security facility. It's not that Donald is particularly dangerous per se, it's his large heavily armed fanatical terrorist following that's the threat, that and the hundreds of death threats the judge and jury will be receiving during the trial. I figure he will be in the dock before too long, he's doing a great job of destroying the republican party while he's running around loose. He's suppose to start up his rallies this summer, but something tells me he will be busy with other things.

Florida GOP pass bill that would clear way for Trump casino license

Florida lawmakers approved a bill on Wednesday that if signed into law would clear a way for former President Trump to pursue a casino license for his Doral golf resort.
According to The Washington Post, the bill includes a 30-year compact between the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the state of Florida. If the legislation is signed, that compact will prohibit the tribe from interfering if the state gives a gambling license to a facility that is more than 15 miles “in a straight line” from the tribe’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.
Trump’s Doral resort, according to the Post, is located just over 15 miles from the tribe’s establishment. Trump reportedly spent approximately $250 million renovating the location, which he purchased in 2012

A licence to print money. What could possibly go wrong?
